Habe meine english lehrerin gefragt was der fehler bei einem meiner sätze ist. Sie hat mit mir sicher 5-10 min überlegt ob mein satz richtig ist oder nicht. Danach sagte Sie das Sie sich ein wenig Zeit nehmen wird und mir eine Mail schreibt wenn Sie herausfinded was das Problem hier ist. Der punkt wäre schon wichtig für mich weil ich dieses Semester noch einen 5.5 schnitt im englisch haben will (schweizer Noten)

Aufgabe: Never mary someone your parents didn't approve of. Do you agree?

Living a life with full of love is maybe one of the most important things in life. Especially then, when you find your biggest love, the person with whom you want to spend the rest of your life. But in many cultures this doesn't work like that. For example in India, the parents get to decide who their child will marry. By that the question arises, if parents should approve a marriage. 

Firstly, a marriage doesn't just happen. If two people want to engage, they think about it. That's also the reason that some couples break up with each other. They realize that love doesn't mean mean the same for them, e.g. they think differently about love. Just like parents do. They come from a different timeline. Oftenly they're 20 to 30 years older than their child which leads to the matter of fact that their mindset is completely different, than their childs. By asking the parents for approve, you will not get a correct answer because you're the only one who knows, what's the best for you and who fits you the most. 

Secondly, as time goes on we get older. By that we have to take responsibility for our choices. In order to do that, we have to choose between things and decide. Marriage is such a choice. If somebody can't decide, wether he/she wants to marry its partner or not, then he has to rethink his/her love life, but asking the parents (or others) is immature because you do not take responsibility. If can't decide, then I'm not ready for marriage. 

To sum up, asking the parents for approval is wrong. It's only you who can make the right decision, who can decide, what's important for him/her and what's not and if she/he is really the right one.

Moreover, it is not allowed that trees are cut down, but rather they try to make the forests healthier with more biodiversity.

What can I do while I am here?

As a tourist, you can also contribute to making Wildalpen green. You should not throw away your dust in nature and stay in an eco-friendly hotel. If you arrive by train and not by car, you can reduce your carbon emissions too. In your hotel, do not ask for towels to be changed every day and turn off the lights and air conditioning when you leave your room.

Why should you go local?

We can protect our environment by using sustainable local resources. It is important to eat at local restaurants that use food grown in the area, to support them and the local farmers who try to be as eco-friendly as possible. On the one hand, this contributes to our local economy. On the other hand, this cuts down on a lot of emissions since the food doesn't need to be transported over long distances.

Is the environment important for your school?

Have you ever thought about the importance of the environment? Usually, schools don’t care enough about this topic, but it does not have to be like this. Our commercial college tries to make the world a better place.

Our school organizes several activities like collecting litter. Furthermore, we save energy by replacing light bulbs with energy-saving lamps and we turn off the heating and the lights when we don’t need them. Another important aspect is that we can visit some very interesting lectures about environmental change.

But it always sounds easier than it is in reality. We have to give up a lot if we want to succeed. We are not allowed to print out a lot of texts; we have to make sure that our computers are powered off if we don’t need them. I also have to mention that we try to make as few emissions as possible even when we go on a trip. For example, we try to avoid planes and prefer electric vehicles.

But we can never do too much for the environment. That is the reason why we should also care about it in our free time like I do. I only buy organic food, never drink from plastic bottles, and I do not wrap my food in plastic. Last but not least, our daily routine has to change too. Not every student can drive a car to school. We should use public transportation instead or found a carpool.

So, in conclusion, what are the key points to bear in mind if you want to save our planet? To sum it up, three things are important: don’t waste electricity, avoid plastic, and make use of public transportation. On the one hand, it is not always easy to live an eco-friendly life. On the other hand, it is worth it because we can all benefit from a healthy planet.

in the following text I speak about the topic the role of sports among young people. The text based on the cartoon from pinterest. The role of sports in children‘s life has changed.

The cartoon shows two parts divided into the years 1998 and 2018. In the forderground of the part of 1998 can you see a mother, who stops a boy. Next to the boy is a ball. The mother pulls hin in the house against he will. The part two of year 2018 shows the mother with the boy too. But the mother pulls the boy out of the house against he will. The Boy is holding a game console in his hands. In both parts acts the mother vigorously to get him in and out of the house. Furthermore can you see in both parts, that the boy does not seem pleased to have to finish his activity.

I think the cartoonist is intended to show, that the young generation spend variously sporty activities in the past and today. In year 1988 the boy wants to spend his free time outside playing ball games. The boy in year 2018 wants to play games inside on his game console.

I agree with the cartoonist, because playing online games are very popular at present and are the new trend under young people. A lot of teenager spend a lot of time inside and playing game console. But this have for the young generation negative consequenses. I think playing online games are very bad for the Health of young generation. Because of, the people get not enough movement and this can lead for example to overwight. On the top the youngs start to meet gaming friends instead of their real friends. Through this the youngs lost the realitiy. An another big consequense is that the childrens could become a addict. So, the young generation get not even physical but also a mental health problem.

In summary I can say that the kind of doing sport are different in the past and now. Today, the role of sport for childrens focused in playing online games.

Hallo ich habe einen essay geschrieben über compulsory first aid courses for fourteen year olds und das ist ein maturabeispiel gewesen und ich wollte fragen, ob jemand das durchlesen könnte und es bewerten könnte, welche note das wäre, vor allem mit den fehlern und so. Ich habe den Text komplett alleine geschrieben und das in 20 Minuten, weil bei der Matura haben wir sehr wenig Zeit für zwei Texte also nur eine Stunde. Ich würde mich echt freuen. :)

Nowadays young people has access to more goods like education. In our modernity, they can extend their knowledge pretty easily as technology, for instance, is spread all over the world and as they can attain school which offers a ton of diverse subjects. However, people still argue that many of these don’t teach valuable lessons about the real life. Instead, young people already want to accomplish experiences that educate them for certain situations, perhaps helping someone out in hazardous situations. In result of these arguably issues, people suggest signing 14-year olds up for compulsory first aid courses.

Compulsory first aid courses can be ideal and influential for young people collecting more real life based experiences. Moreover, they can even give them an insight on how a situation can alter in only one instant and how people can put themselves in danger, precisely fighting against death. Teaching sessions about helping someone, in terms of surviving, can reflect young people’s interests. Some students already complain on having deplorable teaching sessions at school, regardless of their subject area. Maths, science, biology,  physics might enforce their intellectual thoughts but what about focusing on their mind set. Are they even that mentally stable to handle emergency situations? Would they even risk themselves to help someone out after they crashed their car into a tree? Are they even willing to sacrifice themselves and is it even worth?

At this point, students would take school more seriously as compulsory first aid courses influence students mental mind set. In this case, the integration of first aid courses into school is essential for young people. 14 year olds must bear the importance of life teaching sessions. So, the government need to go after their obligations to pay these courses. After all, education should be free and accessible to everyone. School subjects should not only consist of languages or natural sciences, but the government also have to consider the fact that students have to train their cognitive skills as well.

Moreover, the government can also detect people’s reactions would shape in a deferential way if the education system would be more comprehensive and creative. I mean, how can someone not find it intriguing that the education system develops more on its way to be immaculate. It would pique everybody’s curiosity how young people desirably helps out to change the world into a better place. Knowledge has the power for it.

In conclusion, it can be said that if someone comes up with compulsory first aid courses, it should be already associated in the school’s education system. Fourteen year old should be, at this degree, handle emergency situations and activate their human instincts to sacrifice themselves.

ich schreibe morgen eine Arbeit und muss eine Summary schreiben, meine Frage ist, wie ich den Einleitungssatz schreiben könnte. Ich habe hier eine Vorlage, ich verstehe sie aber nicht ganz. Dort drin steht, „the extract…taken from the novel…was written by…“

und habt ihr ein Text den ich zum Üben nutzen könnte?

Habe in einem Buch gelesen, dass es anstelle von ,,but“ also in dem Fall ,,doch“ benutzt wurde.

The Film “Frozen” is an animated Disney Film released in 2013. The story revolves around sisters Elsa and Anna and Elsa was born with magical ice powers. She runs away and Anna wants to find her. The film is a very good film for the whole family because it has a lot of emotions and it wouldn’t be boring.

The Film is about two sisters Anna and Elsa and Elsa was born with magical powers, but she cant control them. So she runs away to the mountains to live alone, because she turns Arendell to an very long winter. Anna go together with Olaf the Snowman, Kristoff and his reindeer Sven to bring back the Summer. Bacause of Elsa Annas hair turns white and Sven brings her back to the castel to Prince Hans, because only true love can save her life. Olaf cames and do a fire, but Anna leave the castel to seek Kristoff. At the same Time Hans wanted to kill Elsa,because he want the castle for himself. But then Anna turns Into Ice and Elsa was very sad, so she hugs her sister Anna and then Anna returns to normal and Elsa can Controll her ice Powers.

My favourite Character is Olaf the Snowman. I like him because he’s a bit funny and he tells jokes at a difficult Situation. And I like him because he’s friendly and ready to help.

My favourite Scene is the Scene with Olaf and Anna next to the Fire. The Scene when Olaf was very happy because he saw Kristoff and Sven coming back to the Castle. I like it, because Olaf try to help Anna and he say she has to stay next to the fire to keep warm. And I like it, because Olaf is very happy when he saw Kristoff and Sven come back to the Castle.

My favourite Quote is ‘‘some People are worth melting for‘‘ from Olaf. I like it, because it‘s from Olaf and it shows that you like someone very much, if you would do this for someone. So it shows that you are ready to do something like that for someone.

The first lesson you can learn from the film is, that you shouldn’t trust anyone you’ve only know for one day, because it can be very dangerouse and you really don’t know the person very well. The second lesson is, you don’t have to give up, when you try something. When you really want to do something, then you dont have to give up very early.

The Film Frozen is a very good disney film for everyonen. It is very adenturous and also a bit sad. The film is definitely a film you should watch.

Ich schreibe am Dienstag die Probe ZAP und habe ein Problem.. Und zwar hat mein Lehrer mich total verwirrt mit den Aufgaben in den originalen ZAP‘s.. ich meine damit, dass wenn dort eine Aufgabe gegeben ist mit „Explain ….“ , dann weiß ich ja nicht das ich in Wirklichkeit ein Summary schreiben muss.. Außerdem weiß ich nicht, wenn da steht „comment on“ ob ich nh ganze Argumentation schreiben soll oder nur meine Argumente kurz mit einer Begründung.. könnte mir eventuell jemand helfen dabei, dass ich sehen kann was genau ich jetzt machen soll??

Hallo, ich muss zu jeder dieser Bilder Maximum zwei Sätze auf Englisch schreiben ich weiß allerdings nicht wie ich das pro Bild zusammenfassen soll kann jemand mir helfen? Ich bin doch sogar auf Deutsch nur schreiben und ich komm damit klar oder irgendwie den Anfang geben

Schreibt/Sagt man ,,It was a pleasant surprise" wenn man sich sehr freut oder ist es eher dezent (dazu tendiere ich aber bin mir unsicher).

Communicating your weak points, not in a cheesy way, is clearly showing a great sign of confidence. Maintaining faith in yourself and never backing down, whatever someone thinks of you, is confident. I am not here to teach you how to become confident because it's a heavy and long progress expecting ups and downs to achieve. But keep the difference between being pretty, successful, or an excessive show-off far from being confident. You can't even just be born confident; it's a long-term learning process. But if you are attached to it once, you go all ways with it!

Gibt es eigentlich ein Synonym dafür? Ich finde there are /is klingt voll langweilig . Geht there occur vllt.? Oder welche könnt ihr vorschlagen?

A short while ago I found a letter in a library book. The letter is about the immigration of Albrecht and his brother Heinrich. They had to leave their country because there wasnt enough work. Their journey to Le Harve was horrible because there were lots of people on the ship and it took two weeks. Abrecht packed a lot of food with because he was warned. During the voyage on the ship, Heinrich became ill and he had to take care of him for two weeks. When they arrived, Albrecht got ill too and had to stay in the hospital on Ellis Island.

After he got better, he went to Heinrich , who has already found a room ,and lived with him. They both were happy to be in New York. Albrecht found a work in a hotel and Heinrich wanted to work on a building site

No, I stand against that, not because I think the older generation doesn’t know anything about love or Relationships but because this is a new era.

The world has changed in a lot of ways positively and negatively, teenagers now tend to start and end relationships over their phone, because its way easier.

Nowadays if someone knows your name, it only takes a couple of second to find Info’s about you. Like where you go to school or what your social media accounts are. And if teenagers find somebody attractive, they most likely ask for their snap or Insta, not their Phone number. People can also have way easier long-distance relationships over the Phone, no more weeks of waiting just to send a letter to a friend now it only takes a click.

I think in some ways the older Generation can still give tips, like on dates and things that haven’t changed but sumarised I think youre better of talking to your teenage friends : ).

Hello people! Here is Leo and I'm 16 years old. Today's topic is my healthy life. First of all 1 my food habits I do to stay healthy will say something about and then I tell you my daily activities. My day every beginn with a large glass of water. Then I fast prepare my breakfast. I mostly eat at break- eggs, bread with cream cheese and vegetables like tomatos or Cucumber. and at dinner I At lunch 1 often eat eat for salad or example pasta whole grain per bread. For me it is very important that I eat day at least one band fruits and vegetables. This food include many vitamins and minerals, which are important for our health. Furthermore I make Sure that I eat enough protein, because I do weight training. And last but not least you should drink between 2-3 liter water and less soft drinks, because they have a lot of sugar and calories.. Another important aspect for a healthy lifestyle are daily activities. So I do every day 10.000 sleps and that should you do too. On the top of that I go three days a Heek to a and there I do sport. At the beginning gym a warm up, then I do Height training for at least one hours and finally 30 minutes cardio training. That are my sport routine. What do you do for sport ? A recent school shooting in Los Angeles has brought the issue of school safety in the bad light. So, people became aware of these happening. On 30th April 2023, two 17-year-old students have armed their high school with two guns which left 11 people dead and 5 injured. This incident has left people worried about the safety of students and staff at schools.

Gun violence, especially in schools, is still a national crisis in the United States and migrants are still allowed to carry a gun because of the “national firearms agreement”. Due to the licenses of weapons, such acts are occurring more and more frequently. In order to protect students and school staff, most schools have security guards. There are also usually controls at the entrances. As a way to prevent non-schoolers from entering the school, they have their own school cards, which clearly show the identifies of the students. In addition, the police have increased their presence at schools.

Students, who have witnessed such incident, are usually traumatised and can hardly cope without psychological help. Many students and parents report terrible feelings and perceptions. “I was so scared when I heard gunshots. I ran and hid under a desk until the police came. Now I’m afraid to come back to school,” says a victim who survived this cruelty. Parents were calling desperately for their children, they even got more scared when they didn’t respond. These are just a few. As a result, the police has to deal with such incidents more and more often. “It is nothing scary anymore, we are already used to it”, claims a policeman. “We are already best prepared for such acts”, adds another officer. They have certain educations and trainings for these hardships.

Due to the school shooting on April 30th, this issue is more present than ever. Many students and parents are extremely frightened that they can also be victims. This clearly shows that much more could be done preventively.

I came across your blog post about your opinion about Shakespeare's poems. You claim that they are all boring and have strange illusions. Well, I really don't agree with you, but I want to introduce you one of my favourite poems by William Shakespear "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"

Let me summarize this masterpiece for you: The Sonnet starts with a flattering question "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?". William Shakespeare explains that his love is as beautiful as the most beautiful things in the world, such as a summer’s day. In the next line, he rejects this idea immediately. He says that the beauty of summer is fleeting and that it will eventually be replaced by the harshness of winter. However, the speaker also claims that the person’s beauty will be immortalized in the poem, since her beauty will supposedly never fade or die. This special thing about her is what gives her life and it’s a tribute to how couples see their partner as the only one for them.

In my opinion, it is a poem of admiration and adoration, almost certainly the best known piece of Shakespeare’s work. The simplicity and loveliness of this poem is outstanding and one of the main reasons for the poem’s success. The major themes in Sonnet 18 are the timelessness, nature, love, beauty and the death and immortality. I think the main theme is timeless and I specifically like it because it is a deeper theme of immortalization. Lack of time is a theme that has and will affect humans forever and therefore the wish for eternity reflects a universal experience.

student, I learn about climate change every day at school, and it's evident

that our planet is at risk. While some people may feel powerless to make a

difference, everyone can do their part. Personally, I start my day by using

public transportation instead of driving to school.

Do not get

me wrong, I understand that many people prefer driving for its comfort and

convenience. However, it's important to remember the environmental impact of

burning fossil fuels and emitting car exhaust. In addition, opting for a bike

or bus ticket can be much more cheaper than owning and driving a car. Furthermore,

driving a car is not only harmful to the environment but also to our physical

health due to the negative effects of inhaling car exhaust.

Considering

the fact that there are alternatives, such as cycling, public

transportation, or walking, it simply doesn't make sense to rely on cars as our

primary means of transportation. On the one hand all of these alternatives are

better for the environment. On the other hand, there are much more positive

aspects about them. When you use public transport, you can talk to other

people. When cycling, you can see much more of the surroundings. Personally, I

find walking to be the most relaxing and enjoyable way to travel.

Should teenagers be exposed to pets at their age?

Having a pet at a early age helps teenagers learn about responsibility and taking care of others. At the same time, it can help them learn to take care of themselves. Some teenagers though, should never have pets of their own if they can’t control themselves and have difficulty with empathy. Therefore: Should teenagers be exposed to pets at their age?

Teenagers mature at different rates. Some can handle the responsibility of caring for a pet already and others not. That’s why the age is for the parent to decide. If teenagers are animal-friendly, then cats make excellent pets. They can be playful and entertaining, especially if people adopt a kitten. They are also relatively easy to take care for: good quality food, clean water, a clean litter box, toys and interaction with their owners for affection.

As mentioned, owning a pet helps in the development of a teenager for example learning to take responsibility for another life and experience what it means if someone depends on them. A pet also helps teenagers learning to give attention even if they are not in the mood for it.

Despite of that, how can teenagers even cover the costs of keeping a pet? Well, pets are expensive but if teenagers have a pet, they can buy cheap food or cheap toys, if they want to cover their costs. Teenagers can also spend their pocket money more for their pet or can earn some money in holidays.

To conclude, I would say teenagers should keep a pet, if they are ready to take care of it. If they care for their pet, they return the love. A pet doesn't question what kind of job the kid’s parents have or how much money they make, etc. They would love their owners if they show affection to it.

Was meint er damit?

Wir sollen im Englisch Unterricht einen Comment schreiben über ein Fall welches auf der Arbeit passiert. Jedoch verstehe ich nicht was ich INHALTLICH schreiben kann. Den Comment an sich zu schreiben ist kein Problem, jedoch weiß ich was man denn bei so einem Fall schreiben kann. Über gig-economy oder Globalisierung kann man ja easy jeweils 3 Pro und 3 Contra Argumente finden aber bei sowas? Ich beschreibe den Fall etwas genauer : ein Boss eines Unternehmens sagt dir, dass du den Müll rausbringen sollt jedoch steht das nicht im Arbeitsvertrag und lehnst ab dies zu tun. Deinen boss interessiert dies nicht und sagt, dass du es trotzdem tun musst und das machen musst was er dir sagt.

Darüber dann ein Comment. Wie soll das gehen das ist ja kein allgemeines Thema sondern durchgehend die eigene Meinung eigentlich oder nicht? Nennt man sowas dann nicht anders? Wie soll man hier denn ein Comment schreiben?

Hallo, ich muss in Englisch ein formaler Brief bzw E-Mail schreiben wobei ich die Vorteile von Austauschschüler benenne. Der Anfang meines Hauptteil lautet:

Firstly through the student exchange many students lear their personality better and develop it further.A student exchange often gives them the opportunity to start from scratch. They try new things and learn how to deal with conflicts and problems independently.

Many people argue whether or not the British monarchy should be abolished.

In the following, I present arguments for and against a monarchy so that you can form your own pinion.

On the one hand, the British monarchy should be abolished because a monarch only rules but has no real political power or function. this means that a queen or king is unnecessary and unimportant to the state.

Also, the UK is not a democracy, as is claimed, because in a democracy people can elect the head of state, but since the royal family is still alive, they will continue to be the head of state.

This is very unfair and unequal to the rest of the population.

Also, people can never be 100% sure if the next monarch is good for the state and does not have bad intentions.

This could make people very worried.

Another important aspect is that the royal family spends a lot of money on the palace when they could use the money for more important things.

On the other hand, the British monarchy should not be abolished, because a monarch is very important even if he or she has no real political power.  

His or her importance is reflected in national stability.

Since a monarch embodies the British history, values and tradition, this leads to stronger national identification, which brings people closer together so that there is national stability.

In addition, members of the royal family are very important to charities, because since the royal family has a good image and is important, charities can be heard better, so they continue with their charities.

Some people may think that a monarch spends a lot of money, but that doesn't mean a president doesn't.

The fact that the royal family has always been at the head of the state means that people trust it because they know its good intentions.

This means that the monarchy is in safe hands, so to speak.

Another important point is that the royal family has shown that it can modernize and adapt to the times.  

This is very important because many people claim that they are unmodern and have different thoughts than today.

But the Queen, for example, has allowed her son Charles to marry a divorced woman, whereas in the past this was a very dangerous issue. 

that means she was able to “modernise”. 

Weighing the pros and cons of the British monarchy, one can say that it should not be abolished because the British monarchy has been very successful, mainly because it has adapted to the times and modernized.
