Warum „to walk“ bei dieser Anwendung, also „to“ + Infinitiv? Gibt es dafür eine Bezeichnung? Einen guten Link? Ich würde gern Näheres dazu herausfinden, da das noch nicht aktiv bei mir sitzt.

Die mir vertrautere Variante wäre die mit Nebensatz: Neil Armstrong was the first astronaut who walked on the moon.
Sicherlich könnte man aber auch mit einer Partizipialkonstruktion arbeiten, nicht wahr? Neil Armstrong was the first astronaut walking on the moon.
