Stört das Einreiseverbot der USA für TRANS-Personen die TRANSatlantischen Beziehungen?

Im Juni hat ein Gericht in Boston die Order von Trump aufgehoben:

A federal judge in Boston has ruled that transgender and intersex people can obtain passports that align with their gender identity, in a rebuke to an executive order from the Trump administration that said passports must conform to the sex citizens were assigned at birth.

Trans und intersex Personen können zumindest zurzeit wieder einen Reisepass ihrer Geschlechtsidentität bekommen (auch das "X"):

The judge’s new order means that all trans citizens will be able to update their gender markers on their passports as the case against Donald Trump’s order proceeds.

After the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts’ ruling in June 2025 in Orr v. Trump, we are extending preliminary relief for two classes of individuals:

  Certain individuals seeking a passport in M or F, and

  Certain individuals seeking a passport in X.

Somit sollte auch die Einreise mit einem "X"-Reisepass kein Problem sein.
