Why you should play tennis 🎾

Tennis is a wonderful sport and I think more people should  play it. There are many reasons why people should play tennis. The first reason is that tennis is a great way to make new friends. You can easily go to the park or a tennis court and just ask someone if she or he would like to play some tennis with you and become friends with her or him. Another important thing is that tennis is a lifetime sport. I’ve seen 65 year old people still playing pretty well. Think about it this way, when you are old would you rather spend your hole life in front of a small window in a retirement home ? Or would you rather enjoy your life, by playing tennis and having fun? You’re probably still thinking that tennis is like any other sport and and that it’s nothing special. But do you know that tennis reduces stress. People who play tennis can deal with physical, mental and emotional challenges, which also helps to deal with stress. Soccer players can also deal with physical problems but they can’t deal with mental and emotional challenges. Because as a soccer player you are in a team and sharing the pain with the others. Tennis players are on their own and if they lose it's their fault.  Not the fault of the others, only their own fault.  It's like when a soccer player gets the blame from the hole team for losing the match. I also play tennis. I love this sport because after you have lost you work even harder than before and whether your next match is a loss or a victory you will feel the hard work you put into it. Tennis not only strengthens your mentality, it also makes your body stronger and you can live longer, get fitter and improve your hand eye coordination through this sport.  An hour of singles play can burn 580-870 calories and if you have 3 hours of training every week, you will even live longer! The fifth reason to play tennis is that tennis improves your brain power. it has been proven that the more you repeat an activity, the  stronger the neural connections in your brain will become. So when you play tennis, for which you need critical thinking and quick movements, you are improving your planning, tactical, agility, and coordination skills. Finally, the most important reason is that tennis teaches you a lot of lessons. Every tennis match is a small life lesson. It teaches you about hard work and how to believe in yourself. Through independence , endurance, confidence and determination, tennis teaches you how to be successful. I hope my text persuaded you! And hopefully I’ll see you on the tennis court one day!

Ich 18 bin aus Österreich und gehe in die Maturaklasse in einer HTL.

Da die Matura immer näher kommt, wollte ich einmal fragen, wie man sich am besten darauf vorbereiten sollte und wie schwer diese Matura wirklich ist?

Ich habe gehört es kommen 3 Writings, 4 Listenings und 4 Readings. Gibt es da Textsorten, die besonders oft vorkommen oder habt ihr Tipps, in diesen Kompetenzen besser zu werden?

Kann mir bitte jemand die Fragen beantworten.

Ich wohne in Bayern und komme im September in die 8.Klasse und wollte mal wissen wie viele Unterrichtsstunden ich pro Tag haben kann? In der 7. Klasse hatte ich jeden Tag 6 Stunden also von 8:00 bis 13:05 Unterricht. Einmal in der Woche hatten wir dann noch eine 7. Stunde. Wie sieht es dann in der 8. Klasse aus?

Hallo zusammen. Ich wollte mir bei zaful Kleider bestellen, war aber etwas verwirrt wegen den Grössen. Meine Büste ist 80 cm und bei den kleidungsstücken hat Das S manchmal eine Büste von 82 cm und manchmal hat das S eine Büste von 60 und dann das M eine Büste von 64 wenn man auf diese Masse achtet würde mir davon nichts passen. Wie sind eure grössenerfahrungen? Sind die Grössen wie dort angegeben?

Hallo Leute, nächstes Jahr gehe ich in eine weiterführende Schule. Ich musste echt hart ackern, um so weit zu kommen. Allerdings gibt's jetzt eine Sache die mir Sorgen bereitet.

Ich werde die älteste aus der Klasse sein. Das Durchschnittsalter der meisten ist 14 und ich bin dann schon 17. Ich finde das irgendwie komisch und mir wird immer die Frage gestellt: "na wie oft hast du wiederholt?".

Die Leute denken immer, ich müsste total doof sein, um in der ersten Oberstufe so alt zu sein, dabei ist es nur so das ich sehr spät eingeschult wurde und noch die Vorschulklasse gemacht habe. Und in meinem letzten Pflichtschuljahr musste ich einen Schulwechsel machen und hatte viele psychische Probleme und Klinik Aufenthalte wodurch mein Zeugnis total schlecht war und da hab ich dann ein Jahr Polytechnische gemacht, um meine Noten zu verbessern.

Also kurzgefasst: Ich bin noch nie sitzen geblieben, auch wenn es so aussieht.

Ich hab Angst keine Freunde zu finden, weil die mich zu "alt" finden.

Ps: ich bin dann in der 1. Oberstufe, mich würde interessieren wie alt ihr wart in der ersten Oberstufe? Bei uns sind die meisten durchschnittlich zwischen 14 und 15

Was ist das Gegenteil von strict auf Englisch?

Bei einer Abenteuerreise sollen die Teilnehmer in grossen Zelten übernachten. In jedem Zelt gibt es 12 Schlafplätze. Geplant war, dass wenn alle (gleich grossen) Zelte aufgestellt und gleichmässig benutzt würden, dann würde in jedem Zelt ein Schlafplatz frei bleiben.  Beim Aufstellen der Zelte stellt man aber fest, dass 2 Zelte weniger als geplant eingepackt worden sind. Deshalb hat es nun 7 Schlafplätze zu wenig, obwohl jeder Schlafplatz verwendet wird.

Wie viele Zelte waren ursprünglich eingeplant?

Wie viele Teilnehmer nehmen an der Abenteuerreise teil?

Kann bitte jmd mir helfen bei diese aufgabe ,ich hab echt kein Ahnung ,wie ich beginnen soll und schreiben soll

Ich hab momentan mit dem C-Drama 'The Brightest Star in the Sky' angefangen und ich LIEBE es!!

Falls ihr die Serie schon kennt, könnt ihr mir solche Dramen empfehlen?

Und für die, die es nicht kennen, hier eine Beschreibung was ich meine:

Es soll ein asiatischer Drama sein, wo es quasi um Musik geht. Am besten etwas, wo es eine Gruppe von Idols oder nur 1 Idol gibt.

Die Aufgabe lautet „Write a 750 word essay. Compare and contrast Sid and Tom. How do their characters personality interactions have relevance today?” Mein englisch ist nicht so gut und deswegen weis ich nicht so viel von den beiden Charakteren. Ich weiß auch nicht wie ich das anfangen soll Bzw. Wie ich den Aufbau machen soll. Kann jemand mir ein Beispiel schreiben, wie ich es machen soll? Ich danke euch, wenn ihr mir dabei helfen könnt.

Ich suche kurze Manga in Richtung Comedy, Romance, Thriller/Crime, evtl. auch Fantasy.

Am besten zwischen 2-4 Bänden.
