Englisch Grammatik?
Hallo,
ist der Satz "It is said to have failed“ im unpersönlichen Passiv geschrieben? Aber in welcher Zeitform denn?
Das Schema ist ja: It is said + to + have + past participle??? Also ist sozusagen der Passiv-Teil das "It is said“ und dann folgt nur to und present perfect???

Hallo,
be said to = sollen; es folgt der Infinitiv.
It is said to have failed. = Es soll gescheitert sein. /... versagt haben.

Es folgt zunächst der Infinitive und je nach Bedeutung und je nach Kontext das Past Participle.
- He is said to be the inventor of the telephone.
- She is said to be very beautiful.
- He is said to have three dogs.
usw.
