In welcher (englischen) zeitform verwemdet man had been?
Oder have/has been.

After he had been looking for a decent house for many years, he finally found the great home he now lives in.
He addressed her after he had been thinking of a good catch phrase.
Hi,
I would like to say that you can also use the form "has been" in the passive phrases. eg. a quotation from my website www.lowersilesiatour.pl
"Traditional way of transport seems to be the most independent one, we can have a view of the places not well known by tourists as well at those much appreciated. We can discover the diversity of the culture that has been selected as the cultural capital of Europe."
good luck:) Michal:)))
Present Perfect: I have done.
