Times Square. New york Kultur wie ist dieser Text?
Mein Text über Times Square:
The Times Square is located in NYC. Times Square makes the Broadway of Manhattan. In 1930 Times Square shared in two sections. The south end keeped the name Times Square and the north end gets the name Duffy Square. In Times Square are round 40 theatres, lots of coffees, Fast Food restaurants and souveniershops, and luxury restaurants. Times Square is also calles “big white street” because of the neonlights. Today there are lots of tourists and at silvester there are up to 1 Million people. The Times square counted with Broadway as the focus of the showbuisness. It´s the show- and the entertainment centre of NYC. At evening the Times Square is very interesting. In this time you see the neon signs in all the colours. The life plays in lots of restaurants, bars and coffes. Theatres, Musicals and cinemas were visited from tourists to see a show or the latest Hollywood movie. Copyright by AbudBudi

Allerdings haben meine Eltern mir bei so was auch immer geholfen, also was soll´s - Hauptsache du lernst selbst auch was dabei.
Was meinst du mit "Times Square makes the Broadway"?
Falsch konjugiert: es keißt "...kept the name..." und falsche Zeit: "...and the northern end got the name..."
" There are about 40 theatres at the Times Square..." dann gibt es im englischen keine "Cafés" wie im Deutschen.
hier auf das "is" achten: "is called the (hört sich mit "the" besser an) big white street"
In dem Zusammenhang würde ich nicht unbedingt count nehmen: "Times Square and Broadway are worldwide perceived as centres of showbusiness.
bei "It´s the show- and entertainement centre..." brauchst du kein zweites the
"In the evening" nicht mit dem deutschen "am Abend" --> "at evening" zu verwechseln
Hier frage ich mich was genau du ausdrücken willst: "The life plays in lots of restaurants". "Das Leben spielt in vielen Restaurants" hört sich nicht gut an. Vielleicht eher "During nighttime the restaurants, bars and coffeeshops are buzzing with life"
Es muss "are" statt "were" heißen.
The Times Square is located in NYC (würd ich ausschreiben). Times Square represents the center of Broadway in Manhattan. In 1930 it was divided/seperated into two sections. The south end kept the title "Times Square", while the northern end got the name "Duffy Square". There are about 40 theatres, countless coffee bars, fast food restaurants, souvenir shops, as well as luxury restaurants to be found. It is also called “big white street” because of the innumerable neon lights. Usually there are many tourists, but on New Year's Eve the number of visitors gets/climbs up to one million. Times Square and Broadway taken together, make up the heart of showbusiness and entertainment of New York City. Especially at night the Times Square gets very interesting. At this time you can see neon signs of all colours. Life takes place in all the different restaurants, bars and coffes. Theatres, musicals and cinemas are visited by tourists to see a show or the latest Hollywood movie. Copyright by AbudBudi
englisch referat ( fast food)
My Name is ................. and I am 15 years old. I was born on May. 21st.1997 in Heidelberg- Germany .My mother is 51 years old . When I was four years old my father died of a heart attack. In the meantim I have a stepfather I also have four sisters, one younger and two older. Melanie is 14 years old, daniela is 25 years old and Sabine she's 27 years old.My grandparents are already dead. I live with my family in Wiesental.. My favourite colour is green and my favourite food is Chicken wings. My favorite animals are penguins . I enjoy going to the cinema because I love movies. I prefer to listen to music but I spend a lot time with my friends . My best friend is Debora. Every sunday I go to the swimming pool. I like reading books very much especially about love , my favourite book is „weil du bei mir bist“. My special topic is Fast food and overweight children in the Usa. Today, about one in three American kids and teens is overweight or obese. The USA has the most overweight teenagers in the world : 14 % of 15 year old boys and 15 % of 15 year old girls. The problem is Fast Food, because most of the food has lots of calories and the people eat too much. Burger, Sandwiches, Hot Dogs and Fried Chicken are typical Fast Food. The most famous restaurants are Mc Donalds, Burger King and Subway. They are located in over 100 countries. Most of the fast food restaurants got a drive-through.Fast Food restaurants are perfect for people who havent got much time and money to eat. Mc Donalds is located in 120 countries and operates over 31.000 restaurants worldwide. The first Mc Donalds was opened on the 15 may 1940 in California. Burger King has more than 11.000 restaurants in more than 65 countries. Subway has 31.000 Restaurants in 90 countries. Today the United States has the largest fast food industry in the world. On the one hand , I think fast food resturants are Ok. You get your food quckly and the food is cheaper than in other resturants. The Resturants are good place for teenagers to meet because you don't have to behave quietly or wear anything special. The Resturants are always open too. On the other hand, most of the food is unhealthy. Some food is OK, but most of it has lots of calories. All the paper isn't good for the environment and the Resturants aren't very nice.
Ich hoffe mir kann jemand helfen ? :(((( danke im vorraus !

In the last month for example there was a bushfire in Sydney which comes really near to the city.
When someone is talking about Australia or Sydney the most people think at first at the Sydney Opera House because it’s one of the famous buildings. You can find the Opera House at Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour near to the Harbour Bridge. It was designed by Jorn Utzon, a Danish architect. The construction started at the 2nd March 1959 and was finished and opened in 1973 at the 20th October. At the Opera House you can go to a concert, watch a theatre or an opera. But it’s also possible to get only a guided tour. Also very well known are the Bondi Beach and Manly Beach. These are two of 40 beaches in Sydney where you can go surfing, swimming or just relaxing. To relax and to enjoy the nature you can visit the Hyde Park too. The Hyde Park was created at the 3rd May 1878; it is open all the year and 24h. It is a 16.2 hectare park at the eastern side of the Sydney city centre. Another must see is the Sydney Harbour Bridge which is a steel arch bridge between the Sydney central business district and the North Shore. The bridge carries rail, vehicular, bicycle and pedestrian traffic. The Sydney Harbour Bridge opened at the 19th March 1932.
San Francisco 5minuten englischreferat okay so?
San Francisco, officially the City and County of San Francisco, is the leading financial and cultural center of Northern California and the SF Bay Area. It is the most densely settled large city in the state of California and the second-most densely populated major city in the United States after New York City. with a population of 805,235 people, is San Francisco, after Los Angeles, San Diego and San Jose, the fourth most populous city in California.

The city is famous for ist hills, too. There are exactly 42. Some neighborhoods are named after the hill on which they are situated, including Nob Hill, Potrero Hill, and Russian Hill.

The climate is influenced by the situation at the Pacific primarily of the northern cold California current. Therefore San Francisco has exceptionally cool and rainless summers and mild and rainy winters. The hotest months are September and oktober.
After NY have SF the biggest Chinatown in the USA, but there are more men than women. There is a high earthquake risk. The worst earthquake was on April 18th, 1906, which killed 3000 People and destroyed 75% of california. Experts fear more earthquakes in the next 30 years, which are so bad as that on 1906
SF is known for it victorian houses, which are build in the middle of the 19. century. But cause o fthe earthquake 1906 the half houses were destroyed, so the price increased about the hundredfold. Near the catrals and museums there are many sightseeings, like the market street, where you can go shopping, or the transamerica pyramid.A 260 metre high scyscrapper with 48 floors. It was build from 1969 to 1972 under the architect william pereia. But the probably popularest sightseeing ist the world-famous golden gate bridge. The architect from the 2,8km long and 25m wide bridge is joseph b strauss. The bridge was completed on April 19th, 1937, and authorized for the traffic officially on May 28th the year.It is the connection between the Pacific Ozean and the San Francisco Bay. And it’s 67m high and 2739m long. In the past many people who have considered to commit suicide, jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge. Nowadays it’s secured with a higher fence.

Is the American Dream still alive? It's not an easy question to answer, especially in our current times full of uncertainty in our work and in our lives. The basic idea of the American Dream is that anybody can achieve anything, no matter how great the odds are against him or her. Most Americans believed that with a strong will and hard work, anybody can go from
rags to riches. But reality show us something different… First of all, one can say that not everybody has the same equal opportunities, for example different education. Because of the individual community which has to pay teachers from local taxes (property taxes) and mainly coloured people and Hispanies live in regions where local governments do not get lot of taxes because the wort of the properties is quite low. This is the reason why schools in disadvantaged neighbourhoods are in a bad condition and teachers are not highly qualified. That explains why students and inhabitants of these areas has little chances of upward mobility and are often despairing. As a consequence of the bad education, people cannot find a well-paid job so that they can hardly escape from there. In disadvantaged neighborhoods are often a high unemployment rate, a high crime rate and much drugs abuse. As a result of the high unemployment rate are these areas known for poverty. Another point is that there are a large number of broken families and many students who leave school without taking their first exams. The life in disadvantaged neighbourhoods can be compare with a vicious circle. To sum up, one can say that the state does not take care and treat all people equally. Consequently, it grows a gap between the rich one and the poor people in the USA. So that many Americans lose faith of the American Dream.
