Du siehst also Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manowar, Grave Digger, Watain, Testament, Rage etc. nicht als wahren Metal an? Was ist denn dann wahrer Metal deiner Meinung nach?

Manowar ist ja so eine Sache. True Metal kann man ganz ehrlich nur belächeln, Maiden und Priest sind NWOBHM-Teile, also mit der Ursprung für Extreme Metal-Genres. Wahrer Metal ist mMn frei von Balladen, Melodien natürlich erlaubt und sollte zumindest in der frühen Phase einer Band nicht kommerziell sein, sondern das zu spielen was ihnen gefällt und nicht das was Geld bringt. Happy Metal ist ja auch nur ein anderer Ausdruck für Power Metal, wobei mir bei dieser Richtung vorallem die melodischen Soli gefallen (zB Black Fire von Dragonforce usw.).

Das heißt also man hat ne ehrwürdige Thrash Metal Band (wie z.B. Testament), und wenn die nach 20 Jahren die erste Ballade rausbringen buum... kein Metal mehr?

Übrigens ist Happy Metal keinesfalls ein anderer Ausdruck für Power Metal. Zwar kann man natürlich zu fröhlich geratene Power Metal Bands als Happy Metal bezeichnen, dass gilt aber nicht für alle Bands dieses Genres.
