Vermutlich ja.
Überreste der Neandertaler-Gene sind immer noch da: Ein Anteil von etwa 1,5 bis 2,2 Prozent im Genom vom heute lebenden Europäer stammt vom Neandertaler; auch Afrikaner tragen das Erbgut von Neandertalern in sich. Eine Studie unter der Leitung von Laurits Skov vom Max-Planck-Institut für Evolutionäre Anthropologie aus dem Jahr 2020 zeigt darüber hinaus, dass noch jetzt insgesamt 38 bis 48 Prozent der Neandertaler-Gene in uns überlebt haben. Davon trägt aber jeder selbstverständlich nur einen kleinen Teil in sich.
Scheint also vor etlichen 1000 Jahren schon funktioniert zu haben.
Kommt drauf an ob sie verhütet haben oder nicht.
Das ist definitiv vorgekommen, und das Ergebnis sind die heutigen Europäer (und natürlich von denen abstammende Menschen auf anderen Kontinenten.).
North African Populations Carry the Signature of Admixture with Neandertals
We analyzed a total of 780,000 SNPs in 125 individuals representing seven different North African locations and searched for their ancestral/derived state in comparison to different human populations and Neandertals. We found that North African populations have a significant excess of derived alleles shared with Neandertals, when compared to sub-Saharan Africans. This excess is similar to that found in non-African humans, a fact that can be interpreted as a sign of Neandertal admixture.
This makes sense, because North Africans are primarily composed of people who back migrated to Africa, from the Middle East during a Sahara Wet Period 12,000 years ago. Since that time there has also been back-migration into Africa from Southern Europe, and also continued (although smaller migration over time from the SubSahara).
Ich denke, es würde eine für unsere Spezies minderbemittelte Mischung raus kommen. Etwa so minderbemittelt wie Neandertaler selbst halt. Aber ich bin kein Biologe, nur meine Schätzung.
