Danke für den Kommentar - ich habe zwar gesucht um Stellen mit anderen Vokabeln zu finden, ist mir aber "auf die Schnelle" nicht gelungen. Meine Zitate kommen übrigens allesamt aus dem ersten Band, also von Rivendell bis zu der Stelle, wo sich die Gemeinschaft aufteilen muß.
Auf English heißt es "The Lord of the rings - The Fellowship of the ring
Das kommt etwas auf den Context an.
Eines nachfolgender Worte in der Mehrzahl wohl:

Wenn du ein bestimmtes Kapitel, eine bestimmte Stelle meinst, musst du das dazu schreiben. Ansonsten kann man das so pauschal nicht sagen.

Wie gesagt, es kommt auf den Context an.
Solche einfachen kurzen Sätze kannst du einfach in ein Übersetzungsprogramm eingeben und bekommst ein brauchbares Ergebnis.

Jooo ich denke daß Google gut raten kann, aber es wird nicht erraten können, was der Original-Autor für Vokabeln benutzt hat.
"Der Geist ist willig, aber das Fleisch ist schwach" - einmal vorwärts und rückwärts durch Google translate ergibt : "Der Schnaps ist vorzüglich aber das Steak lässt zu wünschen übrig."
Wie gesagt, es funktioniert wenn man kurze, einfache Sätze hat. Selbst bei deinem Satz bekomme ich The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak und wenn ich das zurück übersetze bekomme ich das deutsche zurück.
Um zu sehen was der Original-Autor geschrieben hat, schaut man am besten in das Buch. Dazu muss man natürlich wissen, wo die fragliche Stelle steht.
Die ganze Reihe heißt auf Englisch
"the Lord of the Ring:
- the Fellowship of the Ring
- the two Towers
- the return of the king "
Lässt sich aber so ableiten ;)
Ich würde ja sagen "The fellowship of the ring is helping Frodo." Wenn du sagen willst, dass sie ihm gerade helfen.
Sonst einfach andere Zeitform wählen:)
"companions" passt hier am besten.
Nur um nicht den Schein aufkommen zu lassen, dass es immer Company oder companions heißt:
'Here then at last comes the ending of the Fellowship of the Ring,' said Aragorn.
'Mithrandir was lost! ' said Faramir. 'An evil fate seems to have pursued your fellowship.
.., on the shores of the Sea comes the end of our fellowship in Middle-earth.
There Frodo and Sam learnd much of all that had happened to the Company after their fellowship was broken ...
Gute Texte zeichnen sich eben gerade dadurch aus, dass nicht ununterbrochen die gleichen Worte verwendet werden.
