Brauche ich das Original DS-2019?
Hallo :) Ich bewerbe mich in der Schweiz für ein J-1 Visa. Und auf der Website der Botschaft in Bern steht, dass ich das Orginal Ds-2019 mitbringen muss. Als ich meinen Austauschprogrammkordinator gefragt habe, meinte er, dass das nicht mehr aktuell ist, und man einfach eine Kopie mitbringen kann.
stimmt das? Weiss da jemand Bescheid?

Wenn alles Wichtige darauf steht, tut es auch eine Kopie. Diese kann auch immer wieder gedruckt werden.
Wichtig ist, dass die ID darauf ist.
Signature on Form DS-2019
According to regulations, SEVIS-generated Forms DS-2019 should be printed in black ink, and the original copy must be signed in blue ink. Signing the Form in blue ink permits anyone viewing the Form to easily distinguish an original copy from a photocopy.
Note: The Form must be signed by the RO or ARO whose name is printed on the Form that will be provided to the exchange visitor and spouse/dependents, if any.

Es sollte aber eine signierte Ausfertigung geben.
