Welches drum kit?
Hi ich würde mir gerne ein drum kit holen ja und wollte fragen welche drum kits ihr geil findet zum trap/Rap/Hip hop zu produzieren. Das von sonus? Vom OZ? Oder vom jumpa?

bist du dir sicher, dass du ein "Drum Kit" suchst?

Man kann sich an den erfolgreichen Produzenten Gabriel Roth halten: "I guarantee that you can get a better drum sound from one $20 Radio Shack mic in your garage than you ever will with a $5000 U-47 in a $300/hr "professional" studio. Roth schreibt: "Any shitty drums will do." Das ist tendenziell richtig. Wenn du die Hütte mit ordentlichen Fellen bespannst und vernünftig stimmst hast du ein Drumsound der richtig mikrofoniert und gemixt auch von einer James Brown Platte gesampelt sein könnte.
Mit einer alten Ludwig Acrolite bekommst du hunderte Sounds für ein Appel und ein Ei. Das spannende daran ist; man muss sich wirklich extrem viel Mühe geben um aus einer Acrolite einen Sound zu bekommen der sch**** ist. Dazu klassische dreilagige Kessel; meinetwegen von Ludwig oder Gretsch und ein paar Paiste 2001er Bleche.
Wer kein Drum Kit sucht, sondern den Sound einer TR-808, könnte sich durchaus das Plugin Nepheton von D16 ansehen. Das gibts günstig.
