Steig DIREKT ins Thema ein! Kein "Today I'd like to talk about...", das haben alle Tausend mal gehört. Spring mit einer Aussage in Dein Thema (ich weiß ja nicht, was es ist). Stell Dich hin und sag: "10.000 bears are shot every year for their gall bladders alone", oder was immer die Kernaussage oder der Aufhänger/Anlass Deines Referats ist. Das macht vorher ein bisschen Angst, so ganz ohne "Einleitung" (es ist ja eine Einleitung, aber eine inhaltliche, keine aus der Situation heraus), wird Dir aber die Aufmerksamkeit vom ersten Moment an sichern! Es hilft natürlich, wenn der Rest kurz+knackig und korrekt ist. Viel Erfolg!

Well, I'm gonna to give you a talk about ... Hope that you'll enjoy it and that you learn sth about ....
