Basically, the reason why I picked the film called “Crossing Over” is that it’s representing the dangers and problems the immigrants are confronted with in the United States very well and of course the brutality of the U.S. Government in relation to the illegal immigrants

Die Kommaregeln im Englischen sind in vielen Fällen KANN-Regeln.

Nach "basically" am Anfang eines Satzes steht NORMALERWEISE ein Komma.

FALSCH aber in Deinem Satz ist Tempus/Modus.

Es muss heißen: ...that it represents the dangers... (Present progressive ist hier ganz fehl am Platz).

Statt "in relation to" würde ich "against" oder evtl. "with regard to" schreiben, und das "the" vor "illegal" weglassen, sowie "government" kleinschreiben.

Sollte es für etwas formelles sein benutz bitte it is, it's ist nur für gesprochenes englisvh . Es kommt kein Komma rein😊 Kommas gibt es im englischen nur sehr wenig zB beim conditional
