Hey! Könnt ihr bitte über meine cartoon analysis drüberlesen und mich auf Fehler aufmerksam machen oder Dinge die ich noch hinzufügen sollte? Und wichtig: was soll ich bei der Einleitung angeben um welches Thema/ welche 2 Themen es hier geht?? Danke!!!

The cartoon was drawn by Patrick Chappate. It was published on Tuesday, October, 30th, 2018 In the New York Times and was created in response to US- president Donald Trumps immigration policy, specifically his plan of building a wall between Mexico and the US in order to keep undocumented immigrants out of the country.

The cartoon is made up of an axis reflection, which represents Donald Trump on the left side with his typical look a Swede in combination with a red tie and his uniquely styled blond hair. He is sitting on a chair which is standing ahead of a big American flag. Trump is doing an OK gesture with an convinced facial expression. Towards him is the German chancellor Angela Merkel, also sitting on a chair with a German flag behind of her. Merkel can be identified by her haircut, her facial features and the clothing style. The expression of the German chancellor is annoyed. There is a speech bubble above Trumps head which says “You guys in Berlin had a terrific wall”. Also the background is colourless and unobtrusive while both figures and the flags are colourized. In the cartoon, Donald Trump is praising the Berlin Wall, even though by society at large it is generally seen as a symbol of oppression. Merkel clearly has the same adverse opinion what is noticeable on the criticising and bugged countenance of her. Because of the German flag it seems very obviously, that Merkel is representing the German nation, which has seen the Berlin Wall as negative. Trump is saying his favourite word “terrific”, which is typical for the US president. That is symbolic for the usual egoistic manner everybody is expecting from him. Clearly, the cartoonist is trying to imply, that the Berlin Wall and the wall that Trump wants to build on the US-Mexican border are similar. This is recognisable because of the depiction and the pictorial division. Both countries are shown in a similar way, because of the axis reflection in the cartoon. The two flags are positioned the same way and are both representing their countries, just as Donald Trump and Angela Merkel. Although the comparison is hampered a little by the fact, that the Berlin Wall was built to keep citizens in East Berlin from leaving the GDR, unlike the wall that Trump wants to build which is supposed to keep foreigners from entering the US. Noticeable is also, that the background is unobtrusive and colourless in contrast to the politicians and both flags. That shows, how important this political theme is.

Ein oder zwei seltsame Formulierungen die aber nicht drastisch sind.

Du könntest noch etwas tiefer in die Interpretation bzw Aussage gehen, dann ist das ziemlich wahrscheinlich eine "sehr gut".

gehe mehr auf den Fakt ein das trump mit dieser Aussage viele negative aspekte ignoriert, wie zum beispiel die Trennung die viele durch die mauer erfahren haben, und die Tatsache, dass die Mauer die er bauen will auch viele nachteile hat. Intigriere sein dogmatisches verhalten.

diese kritik an trumps verhalten und politik ist meiner meinung nach die hauptaussage des cartoons

German people experienced having a wall and they know how hard it can be. Lots of people suffered and wanted the freedom they had once. Independence, liberty and the decision about their own destiny, those are aspects which didn’t mattered in those people’s life anymore. Furthermore there are many other disadvantages for building a wall. That’s the reason why Merkel is thinking, that Trumps plan is absurd.

Grammatik ist unbedenklich, allerdings bin ich nicht sicher ob du so weit gehen solltest, Merkels Gedanken zu interpretieren, denn alle Informationen die du hier über sie hast basieren auf ihrem Gesichtsausdruck.

Ich würde statt dessen mit einem Satz wie “This dogmatic behaviour and Trumps obvious joy are the reason for Merkel's distant reaction and also the reason why im am thinking...“ zu deiner Meinung überleiten

They are sitting on chairs in a room with 2 flags one flag is the flag from Germany and the other one is the flag of the USA. Donald Trump is doing an OK gesture with his hand. I can see a speech bubble over donald trump that states ‚ You guys in Berlin had a terrific wall‘. I think this cartoon is probably referring to the planned wall in mexico by ex president Donald Trump. The message of this cartoon is that donald trump thinks that the Berlin wall was good because it separted the upper class west people from the down class west people . Thats also the intent of Donald Trump he wants to separate the Mexican citizens from the Americans. I think this cartoon is making fun of the idea that donald trump wanted to build a wall between the border of the usa and mexico. The cartoon delivers the message very good because its comparing the wall of berlin to the planned mexico wall and that comparison

shows that a mexican border isnt good. Because its just separating 2 groups of people. I think we are all people and we shouldnt separate people just because

someone thinks they are worse than the other. This cartoon does a very good job in being funny whilst still being serios

in some way. I would give this cartoon a 9/10.

Ich habe gerade als Übung für mein Englisch Abitur eine "Cartoon Analysis" geschrieben, und würde mich freuen wenn ihr mir ein paar Verbesserungstipps geben könntet.

The cartoon "Trump Commiserates With Angela Merkel", was published on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 in the New York Times, and deals with US-president Donald Trumps immigration policy, specifically his plan of building a wall between Mexico and the US, in order to keep undocumented immigrants out of the country. The cartoonists name is Patrick Chapette.

In the foreground of the cartoon, you can recognize Trump by his typical suit with a red tie, his uniquely styled blond hair and the "okay" sign that he is doing. In a chair across from him, sits the German chancellor Angela Merkel, who can be identified by her facial features and her haircut. Trump has a speech bubble above his head, which reads "YOU GUYS IN BERLIN HAD A TERRIFIC WALL". In the backround behind Trumps chair on the left side, there is a US-flag, and behind Angela Merkel, there is a German one.

In the cartoon, Trump states that the Berlin Wall was "terrific", even though by society at large it is generally seen as a symbol of opression. Clearly, the cartoonist is trying to imply, that the Berlin Wall and the wall that Trump wants to built on the US-Mexican border are similar. Because the cartoonist is drawing that comparisson, it is to be assumed that Patrick Chappette is very critical towards Trumps plan.

In my opinion, Patrick Chapettes point comes across fairly well trough the cartoon, because the Berlin Wall is very well known, and almost universally seen as negative. Although the comparison is hampered a little by the fact, that the Berlin Wall was built to keep citizens in East Berlin from LEAVING the GDR, unlike the wall that Trump wants to built, which is supposed to keep foreigneers from ENTERING the US. Nevertheless, there are also a lot of similarities, like the brutal methods that Trump wants to use, to make sure that the border is protected, going so far as to shoot people before they can cross it. (Whitch is comparable to the methods the GDRs government used.) Furthermore, I think the cartoon is easy to understand, because the politicians that are portrayed, are made very recognizable by of the characteristics that I have listed in my discription of the cartoon. Finally, I agree with the opinion of the author regarding Trumps immigration policy. To my mind, it is inhumane and xenophobic. If people are willing to risk their lifes to cross a border, be it too escape a country of to enter another, the government should focus on improving the situation in those countrys, that have unbearable living conditions. They should give refugees shelter instead of hindering them from crossing the border by all means necessary

Cartoon Analysis Globalization?

Hallo, kann jemand meine Cartoon Analysis korrigieren und mir vielleicht ein paar Tipps dazu geben?

This is a cartoon drawn by Kat J.Weiss, published on 12/5/19 on www.istockphoto.com and it deals with the issue of fast fashion. What is noticeable at the first glance is that the artist presents a serious topic in a simple and ironic way.The scene depicts an abstract situation in a third world country in comparison to an industrialising country. On the right, there is appearing a western women which is underlined by the clothes she is wearing. Moreover, you can easily notice a poisonous river in the left part of the picture. Another significant aspect is the center of the picture which shows us a large billboard with a caption above it which reads "THIS COULD BE U". Behind the billboard, there is sitting a women working on a sewinh machine. Her facial expression seems to be exhausted and tired. Especially striking are the bright colours that the artist used.The artist creates a negative atmosphere towards the aspect that we are not aware of where and under which conditions our fashion is produced This will be shown in detail in the following talk. The artist refers to a well known global issue such as fast fashion. Furthermore, he strongly criticises our lack of awareness about fast fashion.First of all, you can clearly notice that the artist tries to draw the audiences attention to the fact that the scene depicts the horrendous and miserable working conditions of people who produce fashion by representing the womens facial expression. From her facial expression you can conclude how exhausted and frustrated she must be. That is exactly how the cartoon is supposed to make us overthink our attitude towards fast fashion. Moreover, the artist makes use of bright colours. Ultimately, common sense indicates that the colours are used to make the cartoon more vivid which clarifies the Intent of the cartoon which is to raise the People`s awareness for fast fashion. A further significant aspect is that the artist attempts to win us over to his side by triggering our emotions. This becomes more apparent while looking closely at the water colours from river which shows us how many chemicals are inside the water. That is why we become compassionate with the local citizens.

In conclusion I can express that the artists conveys his intention impeccably and extremely effectively from my point of view. Without any doubt the artist exactly knows how to trigger the audiences emotions properly. I also assume that he wants us to see fast fashion as horrible and horrendous. Moreover, he absolutely convinces me by his impeccably used visual elements which make sure we cannot misunderstand his concisely communicated message. Additionally I believe that his criticism is justified due to the fact that we are accountable as customers for the future of employees in the fashion industry. So it`s our mandatory duty to rearrange our attitude toward fast fashion.

The single cartoon by Randy Glasbergen, taken from the website "www..." shows two persons who are dating for the first time.

On the left hand site of the cartoon is a man sitting on a chair and infront of him is a table. On this table is a open laptop which is standing also infront of him. The man is looking at the laptop. Above him is a speech bubble which says,"...". On the other site of the table is a woman sitting on a chair and holding a mobilephone. She is looking to the mobilephone. Next to her is a full wine glas. Above the woman is a speech bubble which says, "..". In the middle of the table is a candle. The scene is taking place at a restaurant.

The message of the cartoon is that both know eachother from online chats but on the first date they still communicate about technology to eachother because they do not know how to do it in real life.

Cartoon analysis?

MESSAGE:

The painter of the cartoon is making clear that the people in the picture are immigrants from different countrys, which you can notice by their looks and they are all learning english in a classroom which you can also see by the poster on the upper left corner. The author of the cartoon makes also clear that there are many people from different country‘s where english is spoken in their own way of talking. There are so many accents, slang words which can make it difficult to understand a person from another country. The uncomfortable athmosphere and the confused looks of the people in the picture symoblizes that they all can‘t understand each other. The boy who is holding a poster is a example for the different accents of english. He is from Glasgow and his english is incomprehensible for the teacher and that‘s the reason why he is assigned to the course.

Könnte jemand meine Karikaturanalyse korrigieren, waere wirklich sehr hilfreich für mich?

The cartoon ,, Will Britain one day be Muslim?’’ was drawn by an unknown and was published in April, 2011. It deals with the question if Britain will one day be Muslim or not.

Firstly, the cartoon shows a scene which takes place in London. In the middle, there is a road-and-food traffic bridge which is over the River. Behind the bridge is a white, large and powerful mosque, which consists of 12 minarets. The mosque is surrounded by dense clouds. Besides, above the mosque, there is a flag of the United Kingdom. Furthermore, at the top, there is a sky. In the top left-hand corner, the sky is blue. In contrast to the left-hand corner, the sky assumes in the top-right hand corner, a greenish color. Moreover, in the bottom right-hand corner, there is a man dressed in a black suit and red tie. This person appears as if he is thinking about something. Above the man, there is a short speech bubble. The bubble states:,, did I miss something?’’.

The cartoonist’s main intention seems to be that immigration breaks down great Britain’s cultural traditions and harms its cultural identity. It also becomes clear, that the immigrants are expecting that the British society should adapt to their tradition. This is illustrated by the fact that the mosque replaces many sights in London. The figure in the bottom right-hand corner is supposed to be Gordon Brown who was the prime Minister of the United Kingdom. From the way Gordon Brown is depicted, it is obvious that he does not do anything against the debate. Additionally, Gordon Brown comes across in a negative light. This is due to his facial expressions. Also, the fact that Gordon Brown appears as if he is thinking it becomes clear that he does not do anything against the debate.

In my opinion, the cartoon has an ironic atmosphere, that shows the exaggerated stereotypes towards the immigrants.

Was könnte ich verbessern? Wie könnte ich anders Vorgehen und welche Fehler habe ich gemacht.

P.s: İch habe wirklich Probleme mit den Kommas also achtet bitte genau darauf :)

Cartoonanalyse in Englisch ( Bitte hilft mir )

Hallöchen :) Also ich habe eine Hausaufgabe aufbekommen und ich bekomme darauf ne Note . Leider ist es so , dass ich in Englisch die Grammatik nicht gut beherrsche und ich müsste mich durch die Hü`s und Hausaufgaben mich verbessern, damit ich eine gute Note bekomme im Zeugnis . Ich wäree sehr sehr dankbar wenn ihr meine grammatikalischen Fehler verbessern könntet wenn ihr welche entdeckt beim Lesen.

In the cartoon, which is black-and-white drawing, you can see two men, which are standing to each other. The man on the left side is little and lean. His clothes are cracked. The other man on the right side appears strong and wealthy because of his buisness suit and bag. The cartoon includes a speech that is called Australian mateship and the use of the wordMate``. In addition there are two speechs bubbles. The little man asks to the big man: Exuse me mate. Could you spare a coupleof dollars for a cup of coffee.and the strong man answers: Sorry Mate.

The words in the cartoon underline the cartonnists message. The cartoonist wants to show to the viewer that the wordmate have not always the same meaning. You can say that there are two types of mateship. One of the type is that mates spend much time and tell their secrets etc. But in this cartoon the viewer gets the impression that the mens meet for the first time and they are notmates. The little man wants that the strong man helps him but he did not want and he excused himself in a friendly way. But you know appart of the clothes that he has enough money, so he could spend money .The cartoonist expresses thtat Australian peoples are friendly and polite to each other and for this reason they use the wordmate. But this situation does not agree thereal`mateship because real mates would always help themselves.In this cartoon is the strong man avaricious but he excuseshim politely.

I think the cartoon is easy to understand because if you know what mateship means in Australia, it is clear that in this case friendship does not have the same meaning. Therefore you find out that the word mate has several meanings for Australian peoples.

Englisch Analyse?kreieren?

Kann jemand von euch mir den Text korrigieren?!

The cartoon is drawing by a cartoonist named Mueller and published in Bath. The cartoonist is signed the picture at the bottom right. The cartoon is showing a woman holding a phone to her ear. The woman is wearing a long-sleeved top, has black hair and is also wearing glasses. On the right side, one can see a fridge and on the left side a shelf in the background. The foreground is showing an table, with an opened laptop and a cup of tea. The colors of the cartoon are black and white. In the picture below on the left is a following sentence, "A bunch of friends come. over to stare at their phones."

The following analysis will illustrate that it is about a new generation communication disorder.

The woman in the cartoon is on the phone and says "A bunch of friends are coming over to stare at their phones." The artist could mean that phones are not good for people, due to lack of communication in society. He could also mean that smartphones or electronic devices in general distract us too much and that they are already part of our body when we humans, can't even put them down for a moment.

All in all, I think the cartoon is true, because people only use their electronic devices for communication

Ich versuche mich gerade an meinen Englischhausaufgaben - einen Comment über das Thema "criminal responsibility at the age of 10".

Dies ist mein Comment:

Write a comment - Criminal responsibility at the age of 10?

Nowadays many people think that the criminal responsibility should be set to the age of 10 in Germany. Is that right?

On one hand are children at the age of 10 too young for prison. They don’t know the consequences of what they are doing. Or did you know at this age which punishment you get for e.g. for shoplifting? But on the other hand it’s unfair that younger people have no criminal responsibility. I am convinced that we must set an example. The problem is that a lot of children are criminal because they know they can’t get punished. So I think they have to learn to bear responsibility earlier because they shouldn’t get into trouble. The next point I want to mention is if they know what is allowed to do and which punishment they will get for which kind of crime, they will be scared off. So the risk that they will get criminal in the future could be minimised. But what is also to do? In my point of view punishment by oneself can’t help alone. The children have to be taught this in school and by their parents.

I come to the conclusion that this law would help but we have to do more than just changing a law. Also I think that the age of criminal responsibility should be set to the age of 12 because in my opinion the age of 10 is too young.

Englisch Bildbeschreibung ist das so ok 2??

The cartoon by Phil published on the internet website summener.org with the caption "" deals with the Brexit under the leadership of Borris Johnssen.

In the centre of the cartoon is a big ship with the inscription "Great Britain", that is crashing into a big ice rock with the inscription "EU" and the stars of the eu flag on it.

Moreover, the ship and ice rock are surrounded by water in the bottom of the cartoon.

Also there is a man with blond hair, that is wearing a suit on the top of the ship. He is saying throught a speech bubble "Ich bin...". The speeh bubble is on the top left corner of the cartoon. Furthermore the ship has cracks on the spots that are hitting the ice rock. So of course the ship is sinking .

His body language and face expression shows, that he is insane and crazy. Moreover, throught the details that the man has like the blond hair and originally face erverybody can see that the man stands for Borris Johnnnes.

Englisch Cartoon Social media?

Hallo, könnte mir jemand Verbesserungsvorschläge für diesen Comment im Bezug auf Soziale Medien geben?

Social networks are used by many people all over the world.

They use them to stay in touch with their friends or family, get information about what`s happening in other parts of the world or just to bore something away. However there are also many negatives aspect of social media. 4 instance people treat others very condescending Lee online social network are also used to haress and envy of others. First of all I social media is a marvellous option for humans to discover new possibilities for their future. One can find new attractions and places in the world which one would never have heard of. This can be exemplified by the aspect the many people I know seek for travel inspiration online to plan and elaborate potentially taken trips. In addition social media also encompasses text-based communication devices which are great to stay in contact with acquaintances who live far away. Nonetheless I assume the text-based communication is not an appropriate way to maintain a proper communication at all. Shown by many recent studies communication inevitably lead to a lack of creativity. Furthermore I want to emphasise that our eyes also suffer from all the screens in our daily life. On top of that I assert that those harsh consequences are palpable for almost everyone. Another significant aspect which has to be mentioned and is the effect that is especially young people experience procrastination while spending time on their phone. The main reason for this phenomenon the social media has addictive characteristics. Social media help you to spend more and more time there which becomes more visible if you have a look on a teenager screen time. As far as I can see those platforms pray for pension from young people to get funded. Moreover I`m searching that social media leads to an happiness because of the fact that humans always compare their life to other people. Additionally mostly young people are not capable to realise that almost nothing in the internet is genuine or authentic. As a result of this many teenagers are doubting themelfes which probably leads to cruel and grave mental health issues. In conclusion I can express that I remain unconvinced and truly believe that social media is the potential risks for underage person. Therefore we need an impeccable education to direct children through the Cyberspace. Education is crucial for the future because of the indispensability of social media nowadays. Michael Goulding video is that social media has many benefits however the drawbacks outweigh them. So I plead or I control the use of social media to avoid they downsides of social media.Danke

Ich habe einen Text zu diesem Cartoon geschrieben, jedoch weiß ich nicht ob es genügend ist?

[…]. It is about global warming, which includes both climate change and economic climate, which means that the cartoonist shows a serious and important critical point.

The cartoon is divided into two parts.

in the upper right corner, it says "pick one..." and below it is a cross with the phrase "this green," which refers to a us dollar, a company, and a car. the co2 emissions also come from the company and the car.

It also says "save the economic climate" next to the picture.

on the right, another cross is possible with the same phrase "this green" indicating a natural environment such as a tree and the sun. also, next to it is "save the earth climate".

The cartoon represent the only two options people can choose between, whether they prefer to save the Earth's climate or the economy.

If one chooses one of the two options, the other is still a problem.

So, choosing to "save the climate"

would lead to a lot of economic problems because money, such as dollars, would not be produced because businesses produce a lot of CO2 emissions. This means that people would not have dollars and the UK could not be sovereign and leave the EU. A decision for the earth's climate also means that cars are banned or become more expensive because they cause CO2 emissions, even though so many people need a car.

On the other hand, a decision to "save the economic climate" would damage the entire environment because of all the CO2 emissions.

in my opinion, the cartoonist is successful in presenting the only two options people can choose between, either to save the economy or to save the earth's climate, without making any other choice. it's more a matter of damaging the environment or stopping economic growth, both of which have consequences. so it's difficult to choose one term.

I also appeal the cartoon because it is very difficult to pick for only one of the "Greens" and stay away from the others because i am in fact very depending on e.g. technology.

So for me, the cartoon is a good example because it just shows the serious problem we are in right now.

Englisch Bildbeschreibung Analyse

Hi, hab eine Bildbeschreibung und eine Analyse dazu gemacht. Diesmal habe ich mir besonders viel mühe gegeben so wenig Fehler zu machen wie möglich.

The picture of the text....... deals with multiculture and shows different individuals with different backgrounds.In the middle of the picture I can see of woman with a spoon. On the spoon is written "equal rights". The woman is stirring a pot of humanscfrom different countries. On the pot is wirtten "citizenship". The woman and the pot are colossally large. She wears the flag of the USA. The humand on the pot wre very small. Some of the people look happy and some people look bad. In the left side is a man on the pot, who has a knife on his right hand and a flag on his left hand. He looks angry and screams to the woman. The woman looks like the stature of Liberte. Maybe, she stands for freedom. Furthermore, the woman stands for unity because she is stirring the people in the pot to a community. The spoon, which the womsn holds, stands for equal rights. Moreover, the woman is stirring the pot with the spoon, which means thst the individuals with different cultures and backgrounds are treated equally.
