Is it important to have a role model (Blog)?

Hallo, könnte mir jemand Tipps geben oder meinen Blog korrigieren? Danke.

For me a Role Model doesn't have to be a hero or a singer, a Role Model can be a family member or even your best friend, but not everyone has a role model.

I don‘t really have a role model, just because i don‘t like to compare myself with someone else or be someone else..

The problem is that in today's society it's not easy to tell if a person is a role model or not.

Almost all influencers are fake, they just want the money they get, and many teenagers don't see that.

Zach Hanf, a 18 year old boy lost his leg, because of a car accident.

He was driving on Rt. 13 in Perry Country with his girlfriend and drifted left of the center and crashed into a refrigerated box truck.

At this moment his life changed!

Hanf wanted to be a trauma surgeon, but because of his accident it‘s not that easy anymore.

But the boy believes in his dream and is ambitious and continues to try to achieve his goal.

I think he is a real role model, despite his accident just to continue as if it had not been happen, is incredible.

So the question is, is it important to have a role model?

The answer is yes, for example Zach Hanf is a strong and confident boy, who lost his leg, but did not change his plans.

Teenager should do the same, if something bad happens, they should still try to reach their goals.

A role model in your life is always a good idea to inspire yourself

and you get to learn from their mistakes.

All together you will be the best of yourself!

Hey Leute, meine Aufgabestellung lautet: describe the picture and discuss the truth about this stereotype in a text of min. 100 words on your own.

On this cartoon we can see two situations: on the first one we see a man drowning and another man walking his dog on the path walk. The drowning man is asking for help but the man with the dog doesn't even bother to look at him. On the second one we have the same situation, but, this time, the man with the dog actually helps the other man. The difference is that this time, the drowning man is polite when he asks for help and that made all the difference. Instead of just shouting for help, he said: "Excuse me, Sir. I'm terribly sorry to bother you, but I wonder if you would mind helping me a moment, as long as it's no trouble, of course.". This cartoon portrays the British's politenes. Of course that in real life no one would be so polite when drowning; we would just shout "help" like the man in the first situation. But, we have to face it: British are more polite than everybody else. I'm not saying that the ones who aren't British are inferior or less educated, but it's true that they often forget words like "please" and "thank you". On this cartoon being polite makes the difference between life and death. It may be a little extreme, but who knows if it may or may not come true. So, if you happen to have a son, a daughter, a student who misbehaves and has lack of politeness, or if you just want them to be even more polite or educated than what you taught them to br, send them to England. Undoubtedly, they would thank you. At least, I know I would.

Takumi is annoyed that he is not allowed to take part in this plan. The two boys stay up in their room where chip drinks as much as he can while Miles uses the breathalyser to measure the amount of alcohol in his blood. Miles urges Chip on, saying he can surely outdrink a girl. In the middle of their experiment Mr Starnes knocks on their door. Luckily, they manage to fool him, but Miles has to appear before the jury for smoking in his room. In the end they come to the conclusion that Alaska was definitely too drunk to drive, which possibly helps them overcome their feelings of guilt. Because of their investigations, Miles has neglected his studies, but he doesn't really care. Chip decides that they have to call Jake now, because he is the only one who might help them find out more. They finally let Takumi in on what happened the night Alaska left, whereupon Takumi tells them that they shouldn't have set off the fireworks.

Summary + Characterisation, korrektur, dringend?

Summery's: The shortstory ‚Patricia’ written by Fraser Sutherland deals with two friends, where the boy has a crush on the girl, but never told it, until a spring dance in their school comes. He forces himself to ask her, to go with her to the dance and does it, but she declines his question and at the end, both go not to the dance and go different ways too.

was wirkt besser und richtiger, zumindest einigermaßen?

Characterisation The following text is a characterisation of the boy, one of the two main characters in the story ‘Patricia’.

The boy is a student around 16 or 17 years, how it could be assumed, because he is close to his final exams (l. 55) and his voice breaks and so ‘He [is] changing’(fg.l. 19). Furthermore the character seems to be very sporty and active, just look at the scene, where he stands in front of the mirror and ‘[looks] at himself’ and his muscles (fg.l.5) - what means, that he must be ambious too, because he worked hard, to get them. The boy could be characterized as really attentive, how the behavior shows it, related to Patricia (fg. l.7-19). ‘He [spend] an hour talking with her’ and ‘[think] a lot about asking her to go [with him]’, but he have not the guts to say directly, that he wants to go with her to the spring dance, what makes him not self-confident.

To sum it up, the boy is ambious as related to Particia, but calm, without selfconfidence, but (Mir fällt nicht ein, wie es genau zusammenfassen könnte :x)

Many people argue whether or not the British monarchy should be abolished.

In the following, I present arguments for and against a monarchy so that you can form your own pinion.

On the one hand, the British monarchy should be abolished because a monarch only rules but has no real political power or function. this means that a queen or king is unnecessary and unimportant to the state.

Also, the UK is not a democracy, as is claimed, because in a democracy people can elect the head of state, but since the royal family is still alive, they will continue to be the head of state.

This is very unfair and unequal to the rest of the population.

Also, people can never be 100% sure if the next monarch is good for the state and does not have bad intentions.

This could make people very worried.

Another important aspect is that the royal family spends a lot of money on the palace when they could use the money for more important things.

On the other hand, the British monarchy should not be abolished, because a monarch is very important even if he or she has no real political power.

His or her importance is reflected in national stability.

Since a monarch embodies the British history, values and tradition, this leads to stronger national identification, which brings people closer together so that there is national stability.

In addition, members of the royal family are very important to charities, because since the royal family has a good image and is important, charities can be heard better, so they continue with their charities.

Some people may think that a monarch spends a lot of money, but that doesn't mean a president doesn't.

His important, exhausting and painful job to transmit Jonas all the memories of the past is the reason why the Giver looks older than he is, his job ages him. Ten years ago the Giver taught her own daughter Rosemary, which he loves. Rosemary wanted to be released because of the painful memories. The Giver is very patiently, lonely and spends his whole life in a room, which is called the Annex Room. In the Annex Room, the Giver is training Jonas to receive the memories of the past, which the Giver has within him. The Giver does things like taking a walk, eating at mealtime, and advising The Elders of the Committee, when he is called by them. unfortunately the Giver was living with the fact that he could never change the rules of the community, but suddenly The Giver realizes because of Jonas complaints, that something needs to be changed and that it would be much better if everyone could receive the memories like Jonas and Giver. Towards the end they both made a plan to change the rules of the Community.

The main reason for this is, that you can search up things whenever you want to and do not have to wait till the Information is given to you in the Tv or radio. Another point is, that I am not really a big reader, I rather like it when I get the News as soon as possible. Hallo ihr lieben :) ich wollte mal fragen wie ihr den Text findet. Und was ich eventuell verbessern kann. Ich bin in der 9. klasse.

A young mayor? I want to talk about the cons and the pros of a young mayor. An advantage is, that he is an energetic person who knows the interests of young People. Another point is that maybe more young persons would get interest in politics, because of the young mayor. But on the other side he would not have so much experience.

Much free time is really important for a young person. But a young mayor would not have time for studies and for free time activities. Thereby he might lose friend. It would be very difficult, because he has to do more than one job, because a mayor is not paid very well.
Another problem is, that he would be too young to understand older people. And maybe the older people in the city do not accept him as 'boss'.

To my mind a young mayor is a bad idea, because he can not represent the 'whole' city. The responsibility is too high for a young person. And he would not has enought experience to deal with money.

Hi! Yes, my time in Australia is great. My long list with the many things I want to do is not yet complete. Last month I was in Sydney and it was fantastic but unfortunately I was only one week there. In Melbourne I was not yet but I want to go there. Last week I've learned to surf the lessons were great and funny. I also saw a koala but only in the zoo. Furthermore, I had a barbie on the beach almost every day. I have not seen a sheep station in the outback but maybe in the holidays next month.

On the one hand school uniforms are very good. when everyone wears the same, nobody can say things because of their look like. so there is less bullying at school. nobody recognize if someone is poor or rich and it's easier for poorer people to find friends. In addition to this the students are a community. All of them are working together. Without school uniforms there are allways some outsider which have to work alone. the class is not divided into cool and not cool but there is a single group. also the school is represented by the students when they wear uniforms. all looks the same and the whole school hold together. everybody can see which school it is.

But on the other hand school uniforms are not very helpful. you can not wear what you want and you can not have your own style. But this is very important at this age. students have to develop their own personalities. moreover you can not stop bullying. maybe it is reduced by school uniforms but you can never stop it forever. there are students who does not look good with them or they are bullied because of their behavior. in addition, bullying takes place in the free time of students. so outsider are only in school protected. above all it is very expensive. families have to buy these uniforms and they are not cheap. when you have more than one child, it becomes more expensive. after school most of the students wear normal clothes. so you have to buy both - school uniforms and clothes for the free time. everyone changes the outfit once per day. it is very expensive for poor families. maybe their children have to wear the uniform the whole day.

Should Shakespeare be taught in school?

William Shakespeare and his plays: On the one hand, there are people who love his works, while, on the other hand, there are several people disliking his plays. Regardless of this circumstance, Shakespeare plays a big role in English literature and therefore the questions arises if Shakespeare should be taught in school.

First and foremost, it can be argued that Shakespeare’s works are not easy to understand due to an old and complex English language and therefore should not be taught in school. However, dealing with Shakespeare has to be considered a great challenge for pupils, a challenge that pupils are capable of coping. Since understanding Shakespeare, as well as his works, is not rocket science, every pupil attending High School should deal with Shakespeare at least once.

Furthermore, dealing with Shakespeare contributes to expanding the own horizon because Shakespeare immensely influenced our modern English language. By adding new words and idioms he shaped our present English, and therefore it is worth to have a closer look at how he affected the language spoken by us almost every day. In this context, we do not speak about a language spoken by minorities, instead, we talk about our today’s world language.

Besides, Shakespeare ought to be taught in school because his plays serve as a mirror of the time back in the days. For instance, “Richard III” is set during the War of the Roses and even though it is not totally realistic, it gives us a rough overview on the happenings during this period of time. Since there are just a few literary works from that time, we should deal with the remaining works in order to get a deeper insight into past cultures.

Last but not least, Shakespeare’s plays contain remarkable storytelling, entertaining the reader with the help of well-developed characters and elaborated concepts regarding the plot. Hence, dealing with these should not be regarded as time-wasting.

Taking everything into account, I come to the assumption that Shakespeare belongs to classrooms. Particularly the argument that Shakespeare strongly influenced our modern English convinces me to think so. For the future it remains to be seen, whether Shakespeare’s works will be implemented into the core curriculums or not. Bear in mind not to judge a book by its cover. This perfectly fits Shakespeare’s plays since they often seem weird at first glance, but become comprehensible, as well as instructive, when having a closer look at them.

Habe eine zsmfassung über chapter 4 gescrieben. (Australian connection).

Ist die zsmfassung gut?

Chapter 4, The Big Decision, is about Alex coming to Sydney after his short trip to meet his dad. But his father was not there instead, dani was in the kitchen and asked Alex if he wanted to come with the band on a journey. Mary tells Alex that his father has to travel to Singapore because he arrived one week before. During the next week, Alex and the band went to Melbourne where they have their first concert. The concert takes place in a club called Angelos. Pete, Joe, Alex, dani and terry play in discos and clubs around Phillip island. The next evening, Alex and dani meet on the beach and the two talk a lot about it comes out of the Alex has fallen in love with dani, he kisses dani the two are now a few. The next day the band goes to the other side of the island to summerland beach there are more Engagements . Dani and Alex want to meet more and more often but this is not possible because the two have a hard band job and always gigs and new songs have to learn by arguing often.

In some countries all over the world school children have to wear uniforms the color scheme and style varies from school to school. In other countries pupils can wear to school what ever clothes they choose. In those countries it could be difficult to introduce school uniforms, because they are not traditionally used to wearing one. In the following essay I want to discuss the advantages to introduce school uniforms world wide.

In my opinion school uniforms ind schools are positive but negative too because not every student have the same style and they cant decide which school uniforms they wanted to wear.

School uniforms are on the one side good because a lot of children are victims of bullying because some of theme haven’t enough money to buy expensive and nice clothes. In this case the school uniform is very practically and maybe a good problem-solving.

On the other side pupils cant find our style and have to wear clothes that they don’t wanted. School uniforms can be nice but not every day ,It quickly becomes boring .However, there are people around the world for which it is too expensive ,always to buy a school uniform. Children grow fast and because of that they have to buy an again and again. We must take into account that the school uniform is maybe expensive but the clothes that the kids need for school is not cheaper and they have to be buy again and again, too.

On the other hand if the pupils wear school uniforms there is not a difference between rich and poor.

I have come to the conclusion that school uniforms are not everywhere positive and children should be able to develop their own style. Cause the bully is not reduced by a school uniform.

Ist mein Text richtig, falls ja ok aber falls nein was ist falsch bzw. die richtige Lösung:
