Im Englischunterricht haben wir Gerunds und Infinitives angeschaut. Ich kann diese gut in einem Satz anwenden und meine Antworten sind so ziemlich immer richtig aber mit dem einordnen von Verben tu ich mich schwer.

Unser Lehrer macht Quizzes in denen er uns ein Verb im Bare Infinitive gibt (Bsp. admit, finish,eat, play usw.) und möchte dann von uns wissen ob wir diese dem Infinitive oder dem Gerund zuweisen würden. Das verwirrt mich stark, denn schliesslich kann ich alle Verben so anpassen, dass sie beiden Kategorien angehören würden.

Zum Beispiel hat er auf Quizlet das Verb "avoid" dem Infinitive zugeteilt. Aber ich kann ja auch sagen "I am trying to avoid conflicts."

Kennt da jemand eine Regel dazu? Danke!

No, I stand against that, not because I think the older generation doesn’t know anything about love or Relationships but because this is a new era.

The world has changed in a lot of ways positively and negatively, teenagers now tend to start and end relationships over their phone, because its way easier.

Nowadays if someone knows your name, it only takes a couple of second to find Info’s about you. Like where you go to school or what your social media accounts are. And if teenagers find somebody attractive, they most likely ask for their snap or Insta, not their Phone number. People can also have way easier long-distance relationships over the Phone, no more weeks of waiting just to send a letter to a friend now it only takes a click.

I think in some ways the older Generation can still give tips, like on dates and things that haven’t changed but sumarised I think youre better of talking to your teenage friends : ).

Ich bin gerade minimal verzweifelt weil wir morgen eine KA in Englisch schreiben, in der auch Grammatik (Past Tenses) ein Thema ist.
Theoretisch kann ich die Grammatik ja, ich bin mir nur nie sicher, ob es dann auch richtig ist oder nicht. Wie lernt ihr solche Themen am besten, könnt ihr evtl. irgendwas empfehlen? im Berufsleben kommt es häufig vor, dass ich mit englischen Kollegen zu tun habe d.h. schreibe ich teils viel auf englisch. Nun ist mein englisch nicht das beste, im Verstehen super dank "American TV", jedoch beim schreiben bin ich noch unsicher, ob ich den "Satzbau" beachtet habe und ob die "Zeitform" passt.

Kennt ihr programme / web application mit den man seinen Text einfügen kann und am Ende kommt ein "korrigierter" Text raus.

Bei vielen Tools wie Deepl Write, korrigiert die KI den Satz und baut den neu auf, was oft unsinn ist, da der eigene geschrieben Satz nicht schlecht ist, sondern nur Rechtschreibfehler enthält.

Könnt ihr mir weiterhelfen?

Personenbezogene Daten lasse ich mit solchen tools nicht bearbeiten, da die DSGVO da im weg steht xD haha

Meine Lehrerin hat das "has closed" mit einem "closed/was closed" durchgestrichen. Aber meiner Meinung nach, könnte ich ja auch auf die jetzigen Auswirkungen hinweisen, da die Schüler eben zu dem Zeitpunkt keinen Zugang zu Bücher hatten. Also warum wäre dann "has closed" falsch, vielleicht wäre es unüblich im Sprachgebrauch, aber doch nicht falsch?

Hallo zusammen, ich übe für eine Englisch Schulaufgabe, bei der wir unter anderem eine kleine Argumentation schreiben sollen. 9. Klasse, Englisch als 2. Fremdsprache, Gymnasium. mir geht es hauptsächlich um Grammatik Fehler und darum, ob es Logisch ist. Würde mich freuen, wenn jemand mal drüber schauen könnte. :)

Ein infinitiv mit to folgt doch immer auf would oder? Ich hab von meinem lehrer so aufgaben bekommen umd in den lösungen steht aber was anderes. Da steht:" I wouldn't mind earning lots of money" aber das müsste doch heißen "I wouldn't mind to earn." Und"I'd probably miss seeing my friends". I'd bedeutet doch I would deswegen müsste das doch "I'd probably miss to see my friends."

Ich lernte gerade, dass "Ich denke" eine Lehnübersetzung von "I think" ist. Da beides in beiden Sprachen sinnig ist, habe ich oft Probleme, solche Lehnübersetzungen zu erkennen. Kennt ihr aber noch weitere?

Hallo ich bin David. Gestern haben wir in Englisch einen Test geschrieben mit Englisch Sätzen und Vokabeln von dem letzten Schuljahr. Ich habe das zwar gelernt daheim und dachte das es gut gelaufen ist. Es ist aber wieder eine 4. Ich kann mir das mit der Satzstellung nicht merken. Jedesmal ist es wieder falsch egal wie oft ich das anschau.

Wenn jemand zu einem sagt

"You are a very affectionate person."

Es ging darum dass er meinte er sei sich nicht sicher ob ich jemand wäre für n paar Mal Sex und dann Tschüss.

Ist affectionate eher mir anhänglich oder liebevoll zu übersetzen in dem Fall? Also bin ich seiner Meinung nach eine anhängliche Person oder eine liebevolle Person?

Meine Lösung: In my first job, I was part of a student team that organised social activities at a summer school. The office that I worked in was very noisy and fun, but there was one quiet boy who never joined in. I decided he was far too serious for me! The first job that they gave me was to design some posters for a theme party, but, of course, I was so busy joking around that the posters that I designed were full of mistakes. The quiet boy, Mark, was the only person who he showed me and he helped me to correct things before anyone noticed. I liked the friendship that realised it and Mark and I are still friends now! Hallo, ich brauche ganz dringend Hilfe. Ich schreibe morgen einen Test über das present perfect, simple past und noch ein paar mehr. Ich verstehe aber den Unterschied zwischen dem present perfekt und simple past nicht. Ich weiß, dass das simple past eine abgeschlossene Handlung ist und die des present perfects bezieht sich noch auf die Gegenwart, jedoch verstehe ich ein paar Beispiele meines Buches nicht.
Beispiele:

Present perfect: Sie ist schon in vielen Ländern gereist.
Simple past: Er besuchte letztes Jahr past.

Ähm, muss ich dazu etwas sagen? Ich verstehe den Unterschied nicht ganz und bitte ganz dringend um Hilfe & Erklärungen.

Ich schaffe es nicht bei einem Lückentext mit allen Zeiten im Englischen alles richtig zu machen

Es kommt immer vor dass eine Regel einer Zeit mal nicht gilt oder es eine Ausnahme gibt oder überhaupt nicht verständlich ist welche zeit zu verwenden ist.

Was kann man da machen?

I will meet my friend tomorrow.

Oder

I am going to meet my friend tomorrow?

Lösung: “Despite”.

Wieso passt aber nicht ”Regarding”? Bezüglich ihrer sozialen und ökologischen Kosten..?
