Ich hab mal gehört, dass die Puppen, bei denen man bei Erste-Hilfe-Kursen die Herzmassage übt, Annie heißen (oder zumindest eine bestimmte Puppe?!) und dass das der Grund für den Namen Annie sein soll.
Steht so auch in der englischsprachigen Wikipedia, hab gerade mal nachgesehen.

This is a phrase used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training courses, and Michael Jackson is known to have taken a CPR course. Resusci Anne, otherwise known as "Annie" in English-speaking countries, is the name of a mannequin commonly used in CPR training. As part of the course, trainees are taught to say "Annie, are you OK?" to the dummy in order to check that the patient is conscious and responsive.
Ja, ganz eindeutig ist es nicht, man kann es auch anders interpretieren wenn man das versucht :)
Im Lied geht es darum das ein Krimineller bei ,,Annie" einbricht und sie in ihrem Schlafzimmer niederschlägt:
,,So she ran into the bedroom, she were struck down, it was her doom."
Dann fragt sie Michael wie es ihr geht:
,,Annie are you okay? So Annie are you okay? Are you okay Annie?"
