Yesterday evening, I read an interview , in which the famous author named Salman Rushdie talks to Susanne Mayer about the Fatwa and the influence it has over him. Salman Rushi enjoys a worldwide reputation by the persecution of the Islamic Ajatollah Chomeini, so that he got special security from british government due the fact that he is a british citizen over ten years. This project was a consequence of Rushdies published book ''The Satanic Verses" which Ajatolah understand as an offend against the Islamic religion. Rushdi mentions that he sufferd depression these days, because he can't neither ride nor work due the influence of the Fatwa. His marriage failed, and he lost also his home, moreover he was forced to change he accept his new name, namely : Joseph Anton. Futhermore, Rushdi points out that he cant understand that the Iran Government support such an terrorism act. When he saw the book burning by the fundamentalistics in Bradford he realized that the content of the book was missunderstood and became an object of blasphemy, so that became very angry. Nevertheless, Rushdie is proud of his book and makes sure that Religion fanaticm didn't excist, and the Libanon and Beirut were a modern society. He didn't know that put himself in danger, even though his college Edward Said forcast blowup. In the folowing of the interview, Rushdie declares that the function of books are sparking off a debate, so everyone has something to talk one another and discussions developes with teachings. At the end of the interview, Rushdi explains that he comes from an moslem family from india and points out: if indian were seculare, Hinus would have power and would like to mention the diffrence attitude of moslem people and the Islam, the Islam of arabia countries is especially harder. Rushdie in contrast, had never lived in such states, so had never been limited under religion. Religion become more and morge right.
