The eating habits in Germany have changed a lot over the years

Now:

As a breakfast the Germans usually eat different kinds of bread like wholegrain and white bread. As spread mostly jam honey or Nutella. Also the not sweet variation with sausage and cheese is represented. Mostly they drink coffee or tea.

For lunch, most Germans cook a hot dish. This varies from vegetarian to vegan and meat. Most of them choose a casual dish and garnish. The regional differences are in the north of the fish and in the south Spätzle and the Flammkuchen.Drunk is then rather cold water or juice.

For dinner you usually eat something cold like bread. Then you eat sausage and cheese and vegetables.Then you drink tea juice or water.

Germany was influenced by Italy, Spain, France, American and Turkish fast food.
