Was ist der Unterschied zwischen "go along" und "go straight on"?

go along klingt wie da den Weg entlang und go straight on wie unbedingt gerade aus, egal ob da ein Weg ist oder nicht.

Ich meine, bei "go along" muss noch etwas folgen, WORAN Du gehen sollst: Walk along the wall - till it ends. Das wäre ein Beispiel. Go straight on heißt: Geh geradeaus weiter.
