Wann sage ich toward und wann towards?
Genrell alles auf ward (z.B. auch afterward - afterwards).
Ist es das gleiche? Wenn nicht, wann mit s, wann ohne?

The good news is that you are both correct. Because the word acts as a preposition, not a noun, adding the “s” doesn’t make it plural. It probably depends on the context, how it sounds with the words around it. However, the American Heritage Dictionary of English Usage claims that “toward” is used more often in American English, while “towards” is used more often in British English.

toward ist eine Variante von towards (2 unterschiedliche Schreibweisen).
Das schaust du am besten in einem einsprachigen Dictionary nach, z.B. hier:

Bei toward/towards handelt es sich um 2 verschieden Schreibweisen.
afterwards wird immer mit einem "s" geschrieben.
