Game Freezes my PC completely?
I'm having problems with Planet Zoo. While playing Planet Zoo with the brand new PC I got for myself, the PC completely freezes up after a few minutes of playing.
Things like opening the Task manager or ctrl+alt+delete didn't work, only completely hard restarting the PC by holding the power button. It happened multiple times, only very rarely it unfreezes by itself after a few minutes.
This all started after I installed 2 more DLCs to my already existing DLCs. The DLCs are: Conservation and Eurasia DLCs
I've tried many things but can't find a way to fix the problem. Can someone help me please?
I've searched the internet and these are the things I've already tried:
- I've checked the event logs and there's nothing I'd identify as a crash
- reinstalling the game completely new (with DLCs)
- reinstalling the game without the two new DLCs (Conservation and Eurasia)
- reinstalling my GPU driver
- I tested my RAM with Windows memory diagnosis (nothing found)
- I run the sfc scan (nothing found)
- Installed a older version of my GPU Driver
- I run the steam game data test: Verify integrity of game files
- I tried running the game on Windows 8 and 7 compatibility mode, but it only worked on 7.
And it stopped working the next day.
My PC specs are:
- Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D 8-Core
- Samsung SSD 990 Pro 1TB
- G.Skill Trident Z5 DDR5-6000 DIMM (2x 16GB)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte AORUS AMD B850
