Sind die Festplatten leer oder steht auf den ersten Sektoren bereits eine Signatur?

Unter Linux kannst du dir das mit hexdump -Cv /dev/sda | less anzeigen lassen.

Falls dort etwas "störendes" stehen sollte kannst du es überschreiben versuchen mit dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sda bs=4k count=1024.

Oder sonst auch mit parted gleich neu partitionieren und formatieren:

parted /dev/sda
unit s
mklabel gpt
mkpart primär ntfs 2048 -1
quit
mkfs.ntfs -f /dev/sda1

gelöst:

Formatiert mit Typ-2-Schutz, 8 Byte Schutzinformationen pro logischem Block war das Problem.

unter Linux den Befehl "sg_format -v --format --fmtpinfo=0 --pfu=0 /dev/sdb", dauert ca 14Stunden.

gefunden über den de Befehl "smartctl -a /dev/sdb"

sudo smartctl -a /dev/sdb
