Ich verstehe das Ende vom Film The Good Neighbor nicht...?
Kann mir jemand helfen? Ich habe mir gerade den Film: The Good Neighbor angeschaut und verstehe das Ende irgendwie nicht.
Der alte typ bringt sich dann ja um aber wieso? es wurde ja gesagt irgendwie wegen der Glocke aber ich versteh das einfach nicht kann mir jemand helfen... Weil die Glocke ist ja irgendwie von seiner Frau, aber warum bringt er sich jetzt wegen der Glocke um?

Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, dann nimmt der alte Mann an, dass das Läuten der Glocke ein Zeichen seiner Frau aus dem Jenseits ist und er bringt sich um, um bei ihr zu sein.
It is then revealed in a series of flashbacks that Grainey loved his wife dearly, and he had set up a room where he could take care of her, including arranging a nurse. The viewer then realises that every activity performed by the boys related to Grainey's wife somehow, and Grainey is convinced that he is being haunted by his wife. A flashback is shown when Grainey first gives her the bell, saying that whenever she needed him, she only had to ring the bell. The bell noise that awoke him and the fact that the bell was on the table leads Grainey to believe it was as a sign that his wife wants him to be with her, which is why he killed himself.
