Verbesserungen für einen Brief an die Host Family?

Dear Hostfamily,

I am pretty sure you read lots of letters like my one. So how to be different and interessting? I do not know but I am going to try in my letter. Like all the other I will start with some facts about me, my life in Germany and my family. My name is X XX and I am 15 now. I was born on the 24th November 2000 in XX, in XX. I live with my parents and my older brother XX (17) in a flat with a little garden. We also have 2 little 'anarchists' 2 peach-faced Lovebirds named Cookie and Puk. My family was always important for me. They help me in every situation as much as possible. And I am happy to have very good relationships to all members of my family.

I have always loved coming in another contrie, meeting new people and trying almost erverything. And for over a year I am dreaming of making a studentexchange in New Zealand an I am glad for getting th opportunity.

My brother and I both go to the same grammar school the XX in XX. School is very important for me. I love learning new stuff and debating about the topics during a lesson. By the way I learned in the last half-year how to debate correctly in "Jugend debattiert", thats a kind of extra curricular activity, and became thierd in the school competition. Besides English I am learning Latin since class 7 in school ans I am pretty good and I really like languages and improving them.

OK, I know it is difficult to decide which teenager is the right one to live in your family for 3 months. And I think my school performance is not that important to your decision but my personality and hobbies are. So lets introduce my self: I am a open-minded and curious girl. I think I am also talkative and optimistic. I love exchanging impressions and having good conversations. I am musical and playing the violine since I was 6 and from march 2015 to date I join a chamber music group. It compose of 3 16-years-old boys, a 12-years-old girl and me. Each of them is a great musican and very funny, so I really enjoy every sample. Do not think we play old fashioned music only. Actualy we play lots of folk music like greek folk dances for exsample 'Zorbra's Dance' but currently we play 'Paradise' by Coldplay. Everyday I play the violine 1 to 2 hours.

I also draw a lot thinks like flowers, landscape or Anime and Manga characters. Maybe you know what Anime/Manga are but when not it doesn't matter thats are japanese cartoons and comics. All in all I think I am creative.

At last I want to tell you what I hope to get in New Zealand. I hope improving my language skills, of course. I also want to learn as much as possible about New Zealand about the land itself, their inhabitants, your way of life and thinking. I hope making friends from another part of the world. And of course I hope making capital experiences for my life.

Ich weiß ein Ende fehlt, zu wenig Platz. Ich bitte euch mal über die Grammatik zu schauen, die fällt mir immer schwer und ob ich was richtig aussage.

I have always loved coming in another COUNTRY, meeting new people and trying almost erverything. And for over a year I am dreaming of making a studentexchange in New Zealand an I am glad for getting THE opportunity.

By the way I learned in the last half-year how to debate correctly in "Jugend debattiert", thats a kind of extra curricular activity, and became THIRD in the school competition. Besides English I am learning Latin since class 7 in school AND I am pretty good and I really like languages and improving them.
