Welche Englische Bibel ist gut zu verstehen?
Hallihallo! Ich wollte mir gerne einige neue Bibeln kaufen. Und zwar bin ich auf der Suche nach einer Englischen, Französischen und Spanischen. Sie sollten alle in heutiger Sprache geschrieben sein, also ungefähr der deutschen ,,Hoffnung für alle´´ entsprechen.
Ihr könnt mir gerne einfach den Namen sagen, sonst sind Amazon Links auch gern gesehen ;)
Habt ihr ansonsten noch Tipps für (christliche) Bücher die man unbedingt mal gelesen haben muss?

Ich lese gerade die New International Version und finde sie sehr gut.
Mir ist da allerdings aufgefallen dass der Begriff für "Himmel" nicht immer korrekt übersetzt wird. Im Englischen gibt es ja den Unterschied mit "heaven" und "sky". Da muss man halt etwas aufpassen damit man es nicht zu "wörtlich" nimmt. Aber das sollte man ja sowieso :-)

Unter den englischen Übersetzungen scheint mir die New International Readers' am besten verständlich zu sein.
Bei Französisch und Spanisch liest du am besten selbst ein paar Kapitel und schaust, welche Übersetzung du am besten verstehst..

Beim Simple English geht mir dann doch zu viel an Poesie verloren ...
Am schönsten finde ich nach wie vor die "King James Bible".

da wäre m. E. sehr gut geeignet die unten vorgestellte
New World Translation,
mit einer von mir (wegen des sehr geläufigen Textes) ausgesuchten Leseprobe.
Du hast hier den Vorteil, dass bei den Übersetzungen in allen anderen Sprachen - neben dem hebräischen, aramäischen und griechischen, auch der englische Text herangezogen wurde. So ist das Vergleichen einfacher. Sehr hilfreich ist der umfangreiche "Fußnotenapparat", mit Querverweisen und die Betonungszeichen bei allen weniger gelesenen Namen (Apostroph).Matthew 2 | Online Bible | New World Translation

Da muss der Durchschnittsleser doch wohl einige Vokabeln nachschlagen ...
da hast du Recht, earnest haha mein Englisch ist noch nicht so pralle. Ich werde die New International Version erst einmal kaufen und sobald mein Englisch fortgeschrittener ist, die New World Translation. Ich glaube, dort wird sehr viel Wert auf Details (siehe Fußnoten) gelegt. Ich möchte mir nun aber erstmal einen Einstieg verschaffen, später werde ich zur NWT greifen.
