Kommazahlen im Englischen aussprechen?
Hallo :)
Ich halte morgen ein Referat in Englisch und muss ein Bild mit Prozenten beschreiben. Die Zahlen, bei denen ich mir nicht sicher bin sind 28.03% und 15.90%. Ich weiß schon, dass man das Komma als Punkt sagt, also beispielsweise „Fifteen point ... %“ Nur weiß ich nicht, wie man die Null spricht 🙈 Auf manchen Seiten steht, dass man sie wie „oh“ ausspricht, auf manchen, dass man „Zero“ zu sagt :O

Du würdest 28.03 als twenty eight point oh thee aussprechen. Zero würdest du nehmen für z.B. 0°
Sowohl
"twenty-eight point oh three" als auch "twenty-eight point zero three" sind möglich
Für 15.90% sagt man fifteen point nine percent. Du brauchst die Null nicht zu erwähnen.
Du kannst beides sagen, im normalen Sprachgebrauch würde man wahrscheinlich aus Effizienzgründen "o" sagen, zero hört sich aber vermutlich in einer Präsentation besser an.
American speakers use zero in both conversation and writing. When reciting a string of numbers only, it is acceptable and common for an American to pronounce zero as "oh". But when reciting a string that mixes characters and numbers, it becomes necessary to differentiate between "oh" and zero.
In British English, zero is normally used only in scientific writing. In conversation, British speakers usually say "nought", or to a lesser degree, "oh".

Both are correct. But, zero is more formal than oh. Native speakers, both Americans and Brits, tend to use either of the forms. Limit the use of oh colloquially.

Ich würde "oh" sagen, also
twenty-eight point oh three percent
Sag "O". Zumindest bei meinem Urlaub in London war das üblicher.
