To be honest, I really enjoy the series! I'm very attached to the UK version, and at first, it was hard for me to like the German adaptation. The actors' performances felt a bit weak, and I couldn't help but compare their characters to the UK version. It seemed a bit cheap at first.
But the more I watched, the more I couldn't stop. I started becoming really attached to the characters as their relationships deepened. The friendships and love relationships also feel deeper and more serious. Overall, the pacing is slower, but that allows the characters to become even more interesting. The storyline also began to take its own direction, gradually moving away from the UK version. It became its own show.
The actors' performances improved very quickly, and I love that the story took a different turn, especially in season 2! The actor who plays Magnus (Marc Dumitru, the German version of Jerome Clark) is absolutely astonishing. He has such a charismatic presence on screen—he's really good!
It may have fewer special effects and fancy elements, but it truly gets to you! I LOVE IT!!! SIBUNA <333
