Dear host family, 

First of all I want to thank you for reading my letter and spending time on getting to know me better. I'm really looking forward to staying a year abroad in your country. In the following lines I want to introduce myself and tell you something about my family, hobbies, everyday life and my hopes and expectations for the next year. 

My name is xx. Today I'm 14 years old and I’m 160 cm. tall. I live together with my brother and my parents in a house in x, a big city in the x of Germany .On weekends we sometimes make an excursion together . We drive with the dog to the near central Mountains or to a Park. My dog is 2 and half years old and called x . I also have got a Rabbit , his name is x . Since i am 10 i go to the Grammar school . She is for pupil between the age of 10 and 17 years who wants to go to an University. i am now in the x th grade My school starts at 8 am and is finish at 1.15 pm . At the afternoon i like to meet friends and go to a park , a cinema or shopping . In my leisure I also like to play Piano. I’m generally interested in music . On my school i played 2 years x and i have been on a church choir for 4 years . 
Another hobby is x , on Thursdays and Fridays i have practise. .At the Highschool in the U.S i would like to make also new experiences with other sports or academics . I think that there is a big selection.


I decided to make a year abroad in the USA because I’m very interested in the culture and I love to travel. I have been in the US two times. It was great and i have just good memories .When I’m grown up I want to travel all around the world and meet new people. 
I think the school system in the U.S. is different from ours. I would like to know how they are different and learn the language better. 
I am really looking forward to my first American school day. I especially like that there are so much activities offered after school and that you can take the courses you want. 

My friends would describe me as a humurous, honest and flexible person. Sometimes I tend to be a bit shy when I don’t know someone very well, but that stops when I get to know him better. 


 
 I hope that you have now a good first impression of me . I really looking forward to get to know you bether .

ich hab auch so gedacht und ein paar nutzer haben mir wirklich geholfen . sag ihr das man sowieso stirbt also wieso jetzt und das sie dann nicht ihre Kinder aufwachsen sehen kann . Außerdem wird das für Elter , Geschwister ... sehr schlimm werden wenn sie das wirklich tut

Mit Quark kannst du die auch täglich verwenden :) denn das Quark verhindert das zu starke austrocknen

Es gibt ja diese Dinkel Cracker z.B. haben die viele kalorien und fett ?

Wieso trägst du keinen bh ?

Ich kenne ein Mädchen das auch mit der Orga war und sie war sehr zufrieden , wollte sogar verlängern aber das geht ja nicht . Ich gehe nächstes Jahr auch nach Wisconsin aber mit einer anderen Orga da ich auf eine Privatschule gehe ( bin bei abreise erst 14 ) Wisconsin ist total schön war da auch schonmal richtig viele Seen und auch den Lake Michigan sieht aus wie das Meer ist aber keins :b also machs auf jeden Fall das bockt !
