- are the figures caricatures of real people (politicians, stars)
B. message
- who is the target group?
- political/environmental/ social/ sporting issue
- what exactly is criticized
C. effect
- is the cartoon satirical, critical, ironic, etc.
what makes the cartoon satirical, critical,…..
- pay special attention to the combination of drawing and text
III. Evaluate
- has the cartoon got the intended effect?
- which elements are responsible for its success/ failure?
