Hallo, ich muss morgen einen Comment abgeben und würde mich freuen, wenn jemand mal rüberschauen und Verbesserungsvorschläge machen könnte. Danke schonmal im Vorraus :)

       Comment books and candies

Everybody loves chocolate and crisps. Especially kids like to enjoy all kind of candies. Not only we know this, so do the companies. Nowadays they are allowed to sponsor schools by donating buyers of school books with coupons for chocolate and crisps. But is it really a good idea to let them do that? In my following comment I will discuss this question. On the one hand it has its benefits if schools are sponsored by manufacturer of sweets. It maybe animates more parents to buy school books because they know that they will also get some vouchers and people really love to get things cheaper or for free. Besides we live in a period where chocolate, crisps and other kinds of candy is in well demand. In conclusion school as well as customers and companies profit from it. Another point is that chocolate, that’s what psychologists claim, makes people happier. At the beginning of the 19 century chocolate was also sold in pharmacy. A potential follow-up of eating more chocolate would be that students fortunate when they are in school. So the lessons would be more peaceful and for this reason kids improve their grades. On the other hand we cannot ignore the fact that the cons of chocolate and crisps overbalance the pros. Candies are bad for health. Medics say that they cause addictive behavior, overweight and damage our teeth dramatically. Moreover a disadvantage is that the consumption of sweets has nothing to do with education. The companies don’t want to help the schools by sponsoring them. Actually they want to help themselves making more profit. They bring people to buy unhealthy stuff to earn as much money as possible. With this kind of advertising people are manipulated. The factories know which kind of people is their best target group: Kids. In shops they pester their parents until they give in and buy the things their kids want to have. Often these are candies. With vouchers of chocolate and crisps more parents are likely to buy them. In conclusion it’s a good thing to sponsor schools but I think there are better ways than with coupons for sweets. In the long term it damages the health of kids if they tend to reach for chocolate or crisps too often. To prevent this it must be forbidden for the companies of sweets to offer vouchers in return of books.
