Wie sieht es bei The Walking Dead in Europa aus (oder auch in Asien, Australien und Afrika)?

Da ist es überall genauso. In #1.06 erwähnt Dr. Jenner z. B. dass niemand eine Lösung gefunden hat und die Franzosen scheinbar ziemlich nahe dran waren.

Jenner:  "It was the French."
"What?"
Jenner: "They were the last ones to hold out as far as I know. While our people were bolting out the doors and committing suicide in the hallways, they stayed in the labs till the end. They thought they were close to a solution."
"What happened?"
Jenner: "The same thing that's happening here. No power grid. Ran out of juice. The world runs on fossil fuel. I mean, how stupid is that?"

Diese Frage wurde bislang in der Serie nicht beantwortet. Auch im Spin-Off "Fear the Walking Dead", welches kurz vor den Ereignissen von TWD spielt, wurde das nicht explizit gesagt. Es ist aber davon auszugehen, dass dort genau das selbe geschehen ist. 

Irgendwann ganz am Anfang wird gesagt, dass es überall so aussieht.
