The title of the cartoon from (Präposition) Gatis Sluka drawn in 2016 is “Globalization”. The cartoon is from the website www.flickr.com and it criticizes that humans destroy the world.

In the foreground (Komma) (Hier fehlt ein Wort.) is a big bowl and in the bowl (Hier fehlt ein Wort.) is a grater where (Wort) a person hold (Grammatik) with his (Grammatik) hands the globe where the person rasped (Wort, Grammatik) the globe in (Präposition) pieces end up on the bottom of the bowl. - Dieser Satz ist komplett unverständlich.

The person who hold (Grammatik) the globe and grater wears (Grammatik) a suit (Sätze verbinden oder neuen Satz anfangen.) the person might be a political (Wort) or a business person. Under the bowl it is say (Formulierung, Grammatik) “Globalization” what (Wort) should make (Wort) attention to the topic.

The cartoon deals with the problem of globalization. Firstly (Komma) the cartoonist symbolized (Wort; Grammatik) with (Präposition) the suit that also political (Wort) and business people destroy the world. The cartoonist (Grammatik) message might be that people should take care to (Präposition) the world because if it goes on like this (Komma) the world would suffer a lot. The critique (Wort) points are for example the (Wort) business people produce their products in developing countries because they want to save money (Hier fehlt ein Wort.) that´s why many people get sick, have bad working conditions or have a low wage (Plural). One other (Wort) point is the situation of the corona virus because the government in China announced very late that a virus is spreading. .......

Ansonsten kenne ich das - auch in der heutigen Zeit - so, dass man eine/n Klassenkameraden/in oder eine/n Schulfreund/in um Hilfe bittet und dann gleich mit ihr/ihm zusammen Hausaufgaben macht oder lernt. Das macht doch eh mehr Spaß als alleine!

Oder man bildet Lerngruppen, in denen man sich gegenseitig hilft und unterstützt; z.T. auch 'fachübergreifend', so dass z.B. 'Mathe-Asse', 'Englisch-Assen' in Mathe auf die Sprünge helfen und umgekehrt.

The Cartoon shows a wood with a special feature: The Wood in the Picture is all cut off. In the middle of the cartoon is a man he is laughing because his allergy is triggered by the pollen from the trees are disapeared.

The cartoonist is criticizin in an ironic way from the destruction of the enviroment. When the humans further destroy the enviroment there will be fewer and fewer trees and habitats for animals in the future. But the humain and the animals need the trees and the enviroment to live.

The single cartoon by Randy Glasbergen, taken from the website "www..." shows two persons who are dating for the first time.

On the left hand site of the cartoon is a man sitting on a chair and infront of him is a table. On this table is a open laptop which is standing also infront of him. The man is looking at the laptop. Above him is a speech bubble which says,"...". On the other site of the table is a woman sitting on a chair and holding a mobilephone. She is looking to the mobilephone. Next to her is a full wine glas. Above the woman is a speech bubble which says, "..". In the middle of the table is a candle. The scene is taking place at a restaurant.

The message of the cartoon is that both know eachother from online chats but on the first date they still communicate about technology to eachother because they do not know how to do it in real life.

Cartoon analysis?

MESSAGE:

The painter of the cartoon is making clear that the people in the picture are immigrants from different countrys, which you can notice by their looks and they are all learning english in a classroom which you can also see by the poster on the upper left corner. The author of the cartoon makes also clear that there are many people from different country‘s where english is spoken in their own way of talking. There are so many accents, slang words which can make it difficult to understand a person from another country. The uncomfortable athmosphere and the confused looks of the people in the picture symoblizes that they all can‘t understand each other. The boy who is holding a poster is a example for the different accents of english. He is from Glasgow and his english is incomprehensible for the teacher and that‘s the reason why he is assigned to the course.

Globalisation cartoon analysis

The cartoon was drawn by Matt Wuerker with unknown title was published on the 7^th July 2011. The subject of the cartoon is outsourcing.

On the left side in the foreground, of the picture is a vending machine. The vending machine is silver and offers american workers. Through the window of the vending machine you can see different figures representing the american workers. Above the window a title says „AMERICAN WORKERS, hire us!“. Across from the vending machine a male figure is shown. The figure is small and a bit chubby. His skin color is slightly red. He also wears suit and glasses. He stands with a open mouth and open arms in front of the vending machine. In a caption the figure says „I'd love to give 'em jobs. I just can't afford to!“. Behind the figure is a case with the imprint „Corp. Sector“. In the background are mountains of dollar bills stored in wheelbarrows. The wheelbarrows are coded with „profits“ and „bonuses“.

The cartoon deals with the problem of outsourcing. Firstly the cartoonist symbolised the corporations and factorys as a figure in a suit. The industry are those who hire and dismiss staff. Corporation often want to pay the lowest possible wage to make more profit. Cheap wage workers are mostly found in developing countrys. To gain more profit factorys search workers in developing countrys, for that they produce their goods abroad. While global players produce their goods abroad, many people can't find jobs for example in the USA. The USA still can't recover from the rust belt, which made many people lose their job. In the cartoon we can see the lack of workspaces

in the USA because the vending machine is marked with the title „hire us!“. It clearly shows the need of work places.

The cartoonist exaggerateted with the amount of money to suggest how much money the industries gain world wide while people in developing countrys have to suffer exploitation and hunger even they are working a lot for low wage. The caption of the figure shows that industries still would take low wage workers instead of qualified workers in the US to make more money.

I partly agree with the artist's statement because i think it gives people, who are living in developing countries, the oppurtunity to earn some money and maybe to learn new abilitys which they can use in their further professional life. On the other hand the workers don't gain enough money for their work. For the customer it's better because the goods are much cheaper.

Hallo, also zur Zeit machen wir in Englisch das Thema Südafrika und wir haben diesen Comic bekommen und den müssen wir beschreiben ich hab einen Text geschrieben kann jemand mir das bitte für mich korrigieren und mir Tipps geben.

Mein Text:

In the picture I see an elephant who is sitting on an old white men. His head is red, next to him is a gun. The elephant is looking angry and has a lot of energy. On the elephants foot is a crown. There are some symbols above his head : A flash, a cloud, and a spiral. The cloud means to sing about something, the flash is Energy or fury and the spiral means movement. I think the cartoon is about a man who wanted to shoot the elephant. But is elephant is stronger and for him it is easy to win. He is the winner and gets the crown. With this cartoon I think the artist want to say that animals are strong and sometimes dangerous, when you do things they hate.The cartoon shows the power that African peoples have. The elephant seems to be the African nation. The Africans want to get the crown Back from the white old man. He is white, that means Europeans. I think the cartoon wants to say the Africans are angry and want to have the same rights are as the white people.

Wie findet ihr meine cartoon analyse?

The cartoon "Trump Commiserates with Angela Merkel" was published by the New York Times on October 30, 2018. In this cartoon I can see Angela merkel and Donald trump.

They are sitting on chairs in a room with 2 flags one flag is the flag from Germany and the other one is the flag of the USA. Donald Trump is doing an OK gesture with his hand. Donald trump is wearing a blue suit blue with Trouser and blue shoes. Angela Merkel is wearing a green dress outfit with green High Heels.

I can see a speech bubble over donald trump that states ‚ You guys in Berlin had a terrific wall‘. I think this cartoon is probably referring to the planned wall in mexico by ex president Donald Trump. The message of this cartoon is that donald trump thinks that the Berlin wall was good because it separted the upper class west people from the down class west people . Thats also the intent of Donald Trump he wants to separate the Mexican citizens from the Americans. I think this cartoon is making fun of the idea that donald trump wanted to build a wall between the border of the usa and mexico. The cartoon delivers the message very good because its comparing the wall of berlin to the planned mexico wall and that comparison

shows that a mexican border isnt good. Because its just separating 2 groups of people. I think we are all people and we shouldnt separate people just because

someone thinks they are worse than the other. This cartoon does a very good job in being funny whilst still being serios

in some way. I would give this cartoon a 9/10.
