Kleidungsvorschriften im libanon?

Ich reise demnächst in den Libanon und würde gerne wissen ob Frauen dort in offenen Sandalen sein dürfen, und wie ist es mit 3/4 Hose, und wie mit Leggins (Po und Oberschenkel luftig durch kleid bedeckt) Ich werde nicht nur in Beirut sondern auch in ländlichen Gegenden sein. Ich möchte durch meine Kleidung nicht negativ auffallen aber auch keine komplett neue Garderobe kaufen...

Lebanon is a country of mixed religions; there are in fact 18 official religions in Lebanon!  So you will find many parts of Beirut have a mixture of people who are dressed conservatively and those who dress exactly as Westerners.  In Lebanon you may dress as you please, there is no male or female dress code.  However, some neighbourhoods in Lebanon are more conservative than others, so be aware of the kind of area you are going to and dress accordingly.  As a general rule, in conservative areas it is best to cover your legs and shoulders (men and women).  In other parts, such as the Christian areas, there is no dress code, you are free to wear whatever you want.  However, walking around in a bikini top and shorts will draw a lot of unwanted attention from men who are not used to seeing women dressed this way in the street.

Also gerade von meinen Libanesischen Freunden höre ich immer viel.

In der Großstadt ist es eigentlich wie hier in unseren europäischen Städten. Gerade in Beirut siehst du manchmal Mädchen oder Frauen mit Hotpants, Ausschnitt usw.

In ländlicheren Gegenden würde ich dir empfehlen so wenig haut wie möglich zu zeigen.

Also Jeans halt nichts was die Brüste betont.

Kopftuch musst du eher nicht tragen. Der Staatspräsident ist auch glaube ich sogar Christ soweit ich weiß.

Klar! Du kannst mit hotpants und top rumlaufen :) es kommt aber drauf an in welchem Gebiet du dich befindest, "verboten" ist es aber nirgends
