Das deutsche Idiom kenn ich nicht. Vielleicht hat AriZona04 recht mit seiner Übersetzung aber der Spruch bedeutet: "Wartet bloß! Der Tag wird kommen, wo man mir Recht geben wird und dann werdet Ihr staunen." So ungefähr.
