I love watching and practicing MMA, its not as cruel as everyone might think. In the UFC the Fighters want to show they Skills, Fight IQ, Athleticism. Watching now someone like Valentina Shevchenko (UFC Flyweight Champion, 1P4P), Israel Adesanya (UFC Middleweight Champion, 3P4P) , Mighty Mouse (ONE Championship) Cris Cyborg (Bellator), Alexander Volkanovski (UFC Featherweight Champion, 2P4P) showcase they're skills is quite something else.

To show sportsmanship, that's they job and nothing personal, they normally respect each other. A Fight is a Fight, they fight in the Octagon and not outside of it.

Win via Submission (for example Rear Naked Choke), TKO or Knockout.

A Submission is always a Submission, if the Opponent taps or goes to sleep, a TKO for example through punches when the Opponent can't defend themselves. A Knockout is for example a Headkick either the Opponent goes directly to sleep or is defenseless and can't get up again, normally the Ref stops the fight.
