Guten Abend!

Mir ist etwas, meiner Meinung nach nicht faires, vor 2 Wochen in der Schule widerfahren. Nämlich musste ich eine Deutscharbeit einen Tag früher schreiben, da ich am nächsten Schultag beurlaubt war. Da die Arbeit 3 Schulstunden lang ging, aber nur 2 davon Deutsch Stunden sind, habe ich mit meinem Englisch Lehrer abgeklärt, dass ich in der Englisch Stunde noch die Deutscharbeit schreiben darf. Die Zeit der Arbeit war von 10:50 - 12:20 Uhr. Das heißt, dass ich auch in der Pause dazwischen geschrieben habe. Da ich schon gegen 12 Uhr fertig war, dachte ich mir, dass ich doch einfach in den Englisch Unterricht gehe. Das war leider die falsche Entscheidung, da die dort gerade einen Englisch "Test" geschrieben haben ( der Test war einfach nur ein weißes Blatt, dass in der Mitte gefaltet war, auf dem man dann Vokabeln von der Tafel abschreiben sollte). Ich komme in die Klasse und mein Lehrer drückt mir direkt einen Zettel in die Hand und meinte, dass ich mitschreiben soll.

Das Problem dabei war, dass ich mich gar nicht mehr konzentrieren könnte. Das liegt ein mal daran, dass ich ADSler bin aber mir auch nach gut einer Minute 26 Leute (mein Lehrer mit eingeschlossen) ins Ohr geschrien haben, weil die schon abgeben mussten. Ich hatte ungefähr 5 Minuten für den Test Zeit, während die anderen (laut Aussage) um die 15 Minuten Zeit haben.

Sobald ich den Vokabeltestest zurück bekomme, werde ich mit meinem Lehrer Diskutieren.

ich habe sehr große Probleme mit Texte auf englisch zu schreiben und deshalb bräuchte ich dringend hilfe :/ Ich habe einen Text verfasst und wollte nun fragen, ob es sprachlich richitg ist, wobei ich weiß, dass es nicht so ist.

Hier mein text:

Lagos is an island which one can arrive to through bridges like the mainland bridge. All around the city is the Atlantic and in mariana a harbour is to be found. 

When going further through the mainland bridge, one can take a view of the commercial centre and a lot of skyscrapers , wich reach the sky.

Above the stores there are a lot of electricity and telephone lines. 

However, when the night appears, the streets are barely with lights because the street light in Lagos do not always function. 

But right after the sun comes up, streets are overcrowded by people, who are on the way to their work and therefore there is a heavy traffic on the roads. 

Additionally, the roads are full of billboards with advertisements of any types.

Many people argue whether or not the British monarchy should be abolished.

In the following, I present arguments for and against a monarchy so that you can form your own pinion.

On the one hand, the British monarchy should be abolished because a monarch only rules but has no real political power or function. this means that a queen or king is unnecessary and unimportant to the state.

Also, the UK is not a democracy, as is claimed, because in a democracy people can elect the head of state, but since the royal family is still alive, they will continue to be the head of state.

This is very unfair and unequal to the rest of the population.

Also, people can never be 100% sure if the next monarch is good for the state and does not have bad intentions.

This could make people very worried.

Another important aspect is that the royal family spends a lot of money on the palace when they could use the money for more important things.

On the other hand, the British monarchy should not be abolished, because a monarch is very important even if he or she has no real political power.  

His or her importance is reflected in national stability.

Since a monarch embodies the British history, values and tradition, this leads to stronger national identification, which brings people closer together so that there is national stability.

In addition, members of the royal family are very important to charities, because since the royal family has a good image and is important, charities can be heard better, so they continue with their charities.

Some people may think that a monarch spends a lot of money, but that doesn't mean a president doesn't.

There are also many presidents with many offices, even more than the British monarch.

The fact that the royal family has always been at the head of the state means that people trust it because they know its good intentions.

This means that the monarchy is in safe hands, so to speak.

Another important point is that the royal family has shown that it can modernize and adapt to the times.  

This is very important because many people claim that they are unmodern and have different thoughts than today.

But the Queen, for example, has allowed her son Charles to marry a divorced woman, whereas in the past this was a very dangerous issue. 

that means she was able to “modernise”. 

Weighing the pros and cons of the British monarchy, one can say that it should not be abolished because the British monarchy has been very successful, mainly because it has adapted to the times and modernized.

Hallo, ich muss morgen in Englisch ein Comment über Outsourcing schreiben. Und ich wollte mal fragen, ob jemand mir helfen kann, wie man jetzt z.B. eine Einleitung oder Hauptteil schreiben könnte, also wie man jetzt vorangehen würde.

ich bin 19 Jahre alt und muss eine Präsentation auf Englisch vorbereiten, als Thema habe ich "Martin Luther King" gewählt. Fändet ihr das in einem Alter ab 17 Jahren interessant oder eher langweilig?

Bis jetzt haben andere in meiner Klasse über "Basic" Themen präsentiert wie z.B. Mental Health, Filme etc.

Wusste nicht wie ich die Frage formulieren soll, deswegen ignoriert die Fragen. Also ich habe bisher mein Lebenlang Englisch so gehasst & wurde immer so runtergemacht das ich die schwächste immer wäre im Englisch unterricht. Bin gerade in der 10. & will hoffentlich mein Abi machen. Meint ihr, ich packe das? Will anderen zeigen das ich auch dazu fähig bin. Wird ein schwieriger Weg aber idk :/ Könnt ihr mir auch Tipp‘s geben wie ich schnell wie möglichst lernen könnte? Ich habe das Wort gegooglet komme aber nicht auf die Übersetzung.

Das hat mir übrigens ein Englischmuttersprachler geschrieben.

Ich finde irgendwie keine stil mittel (rhetorische mittel) und woher weiß ich dass eine junge person spricht und welche sprache verwendet er hier? Also Umgangssprache oder Altagssprache?

Das ist mein erstes mal mit so ner aufgabe

Mit Untertitel ist nicht die Übersetztung von dem was gesprochen wird auf Deutsch gemeint. Sondern das gesprochene noch mal auf Englisch unten als Untertitel ist.

Woran liegt das? Mein Englisch ist eigentlich überdurchschnittlich gut. Natürlich kann ich es nicht fließend sprechen und verstehen wie auf Deutsch.

Ich habe letztens angefangen mir Serien und Filme auf Englisch anzuschauen mit Untertiteln(die das gesprochene noch mal auf Englisch schreiben). Das komische ist wenn ich die Untertitel lese verstehe ich das meiste aber wenn ich nur zuhöre kann ich die meisten Wörter bzw. was gesprochen wird nur in einem sehr geringen Grad verstehen. Obwohl ich eigentlich die Aussprache der meisten Wörter weiß. Bei Animation Filmen verstehe ich das gesprochene noch besser als reale Filme mit richtigen Menschen als Cast. Woran liegt das und wie bekomme ich es hin das gesprochene ganz zu verstehen ohne die Untertitel auf Englisch zu lesen?

Wann benutze ich was und wann were wo liegt der genaue unterschied ich weis das beides vergangenheit ist aber wo liegt der unterschied???

Ich habe eine Frage. Wann benutze ich im englischen wenn ich einen Text schreibe a und wann an und wo liegt der genaue Unterschied?
