Wie die Überschrift schon sagt, suche ich nützliche Formulierungen/Redewendungen (ruhig auch um den anderen in Erklärungsnot zu bringen, da sehr überspitzt ausgedrückt) für Diskussionen auf Englisch.

hmm naja wenn ihr argumentiert GIVE REASONS: consequently, therefor, as a result
GIVE AN OPINION: in my opinion, to my mind, in my view, from my point of view
COMPARE: on the one hand....on the other hand, in contrast to, on the contrary, similarly,likewise
CONCLUDE: finally, in conclusion, to sum up, to conclude
Auftakt:
- I would like to start with...
- Let me begin with...
Gliederung:
- There are four points I would like to make. First at all... Secondly... In addition... Finally...
Meinungsaüßerung:
- From my point of view...
- In my mind...
- It looks to me as if...
- I´m convinced that...
- My best guess is...
Meinungsnachfrage:
- How do you feel about this?
- Do you also think that´s the case?
- What about you?
- What´s your view of this?
- I would be very interested to hear your opinion on this!
Zustimmung:
- Exactly my point of view.
- I totally agree.
- I share your opinion.
- I can go along with that.
- You might be right there.
- That´s true, I suppose.
Widerspruch:

Vorschläge:

Unterstützung:

Umgang mit einer Unterbrechung:

Hinterfragen:

- I didn´t catch that completely. Could you just go over it again?
- Am I true in understanding, that ...?

Klären von Missverständnissen:
- I´m afraid that there has been some misunderständing. What I actually said was...

Wiederaufgreifen eines Themas:

Verteidigen eines Standpunktes:

Unterlegen von Aussagen:
