Dear Host Family,

First of all I want to thank you for reading my letter and spending time on getting to know me better. I'd like to introduce myself and thank you for giving me a home during my stay in your country.

My name is XXX and I was born on the 23th of October XXX. I live with my parents in a small flat in XXX which is a small city in Saxony. I have a 20years old brother XXX who moved to Munich to work there and lives now in an own flat. My parents who are XXX work as textile vendors. I go to the Gymnasium which is like a High School. It has about 1000 pupils and I go in the 9th grade. My favourite subjects are English and French. Sometimes I write with english people via chat in the internet when I've freetime but I cannot really write with french people because I don't know much(only 2 a half years French).

In my freetime I like to train with weights. It's really fun for me and I want to stay healthy and fit! I train since a half year. I enjoy spending time with friends, like going to the cinema with them or going shopping. In the moment I don’t do sports without school sport but one of my favourite sport is Volleyball. I enjoy every second of playing Volleyball, even in school.

Before I go to your country, I'd like to know something about your family, the area and the school I'll go to.
