für eine Hausarbeit haben wir von unsere Dozentin einige verschiedene Szenarien geschildert bekommen, die wir nun beantworten sollen. Da ich leider echt nicht weiß wie ich danach googeln soll hoffe ich es kann mir einer von euch helfen!
Frage 1:
In a local newspaper, Charles finds the following advertisement: "For Sale: used bike for 125 Euro, Phone number 047.... A few days after the advertisement was published Charles called the mentioned phone number. The seller says that the price now has doubled.
Does the seller have the right to raise the price? Explain!
Frage 2:
George buys a carpet in a local carpet store. According to George the purchase is a real bargain: he believes to have bought a Persian rug. Jack, George's neighbour, however, tells him he actually bought a machine made carpet. George invokes the nullity of the agreement because of a mistake.
Do you think George's action would be successful?
Frage 3:
Marc and his girlfriend Jane are passing a very romantic stay in Paris. Totally in love and also to impress her, Marc buys a Cartier watch at a jeweler in the Champs Elysées. He chooses one of the more expensive models (3000€). Proud of his purchase he shows the watch to his brother, who immediately starts laughing: The Cartier watch is a cheap imitation. Marc is furious and wants to take action against the jeweler.
What defect could Marc invoke against the seller?
