I know how to get rid of prime's x ray feature. If using firefox you install adblocker ultimate and when the movie or show you're watching is on screen and the unwanted x ray imdb garbage sprays onto your screen, pause the show and go to the icon for adblocker ultimate and choose 'block element' which permits you to create a window that highlights whatever it is that you wish to remove and, as you select the various elements one by one, it all disappears. Takes minutes at the most.

The next time you use the prime player you might find some residual aspects of x ray appear but just repeat the option to block element in adblocker and it will be gone and good riddance to it and the mentality that says people would like to know everything about whatever the actor or director ate for lunch that day whilst you're trying to watch the film a feature which reeks of utter madness somewhere undetected at amazon prime head office being palmed off to someone as gullible as they are mad as a completely genius innovation.
