Dear host family,

First of all I want to thank you for giving me the opportunity to spend 3 months in New Zealand with you and to be a part of your family. In the following letter I would like to give you an impression of my personality ant to introduce myself, my family, the things I normally do, the place where I live and things I like.

My name is Helene and I am x years old. I was born on x in x. But now I live in x, a little town with circa 5000 inhabitants near xin the middle of Germany. I live in a house with a nice garden together with my mom, my dad and my two younger sisters. My father works as a Controller by x. My mum is still a Housewife but she is going to work in her old job as a tax assistant. One of my sisters, called x, goes to the same school like I do. She is only two years younger than me. My other sister, x, is 5 years old and goes still in the kinder garden.

I spend a lot of time with my mom who is always there when I need an advice or someone to talk to. The relationship between my sister x and me changes from day to day. At some days she behaves very friendly and I like doing with her something for example we always have new ideas for doing something against being bored. But already the next day she bothers me the whole day and does not leave me alone even after asking her for it a couple of times. Anyway, all in all, I can say that we have a good relationship in spite of these arguments. The relationship to my youngest sisters is good, too. She and I often do something together like paint a picture or play games. Besides I have a good relationship to my dad, my grandparents and the rest of my family, too.

I go to the Gymnasium in 9th grade. My school is in x which is circa 10 kilometres far away form x. Every morning I take the bus for going to school. My favourite subjects are English, Maths, Religion, P.E. and Arts. I would describe me as an all-rounder talent and so it is hard for me to decide for a job in the moment. In my class, school never becomes boring. My best friends are in the same class and so we do many things together, for example go shopping, do sports, cook together, have a sleepover or just hang around and talk about girl things.

My hobbies are playing tennis. I play since I am 7 years old. My sister x and I are at the same tennis team. In the summer, we play games against other tennis teams. And besides I have a passion for dancing. I have started to dance Hip-Hop not such a long time ago. Also I go to a course for learning dancing once a week. There we learn to dance the different dance kinds for example Disco Fox or Cha-Cha-Cha.

spiele im moment gerne das multiplayerspiel goodgame farmer beta, leider habe ich des öfteren das problem das sich mein pc dabei aufhängt. aber nur bei diesem spiel. 1. frage warum? 2. wie kann ich den pc runterfahren. reagiert auf nciths mehr. aber stecker ziehen ist ja auch nicht so toll. danke für eure hilfe. die letzten tage ging es problemlos, heute war es wieder ganz schlimm.
