Hallo, leute. Ich habe eine frage, aber mochte ich in english sie formuliere, wenn mein deutsche ist nicht zur zeit so gut. So, i have to leave this wg in a very short time and i want the keys to keep because i think that the untervermierin owes me some money, specifically, though the contract said that in the amount warmmiete was included, she forbade me to use the heating during two cold spring months, first of all by lying to me that keeping the heat all the time during the day would cost us no less than 700 euros. Of course i did not believe the huge amount she gave me, but i thought that could be oretty high giving our old, wood windows. Still, after two months i met our neighbour who lives in the exaclty the same studio and he sais that the bill for the gas is no more than 50 euros for 12 hours non stop heating. So i was clearly cheated and endured terrible and inappropriate temperatures for the time there. I made a short calculus and i came around the amount of 40-50 euros for my oart of a normal heating bill. I tried to talk to her and to ask for the gas bills so i can confront it with the reality and she became very aggressive and hysterical and mean. I know that if i want those money back, i would have to go to the court and i dont have the time and the will and the money for this effort. I want the money ASAP. Amd i think that taking the keys with me in exchange of those momey would be a good idea. I am not sure though whats the level of the criminality in this respect. Or should i go to the police instead and invite them for a discussion with this woman? Is not so much about the money but about her execrable behavior. She also limited my acces to electricity and the festnetz phone i paid for. What should i do?
