Hey, also ich hab Rückenschmerzen, auf der rechten Seite knapp unter dem Schulterblatt. Die Schmerzen ziehen auch zum Teil nach vorn, an die Stelle wo die Rippen auf der rechten Seite enden. Ich hab auch Gallensteine, kann es daran liegen? Wenn nicht, woran dann?

Hallo gf-Benutzer ich weiß nicht ob es erlaubt ist nach Rat wegen Hausaufgaben hier zu fragen aber habe im Moment niemand der mir helfen könnte naja also ich verstehe in Englisch eine Aufgabe nicht vlt. könnt ihr mir ja weiterhelfen hier ist der Text und die Aufgabe.

B Many tourists in New York take the boat and visit the museum on Ellis Island. This is a small island in the city's harbour. In the early days of New York people only used it for picnics. But from 1892 to Ellis Island was a centre for immigrants.

E Between 1895 and 1954 more than 12 million immigrants came trough Ellis Island. Most were from Europe. Many of them had problems in their old countries. All of them wanted a better life in America. When they arrived in New York habour the first thing that they saw was the statue of Liberty.

A Then came Ellis Island. Immigrants had to wait there in rooms and corridors, with great numbers of people . They were scared. The were in a new strange country. Doctors looked at them and asked them questions. Then they had to answer more questions: about their family, how much money they had, what work they could do.

C For some people these tests meant the end of their dream. Diseases or the wrong answers to the questions meant that they were not welcome in America. So they never went all the way across the habour to New York City.

D But eight in then people passed the tests and got a card with their name on it. Often officials couldn't spell the names, so they wrote something different. But this wasn't important to the immigrants. A new name was better than no name. And the card meant that they could stay in America.

Exercises: These sentences can go at the end of the text parts. Find the right part! a) 1. This was a sign of freedom and hope for them. 2. They had to go back to the countries that they came from. 3. Everybody who arrived in New York had to go there before they could stay in America. 4. This wasn't easy because most people of them didn't speak English. 5. At last they could start a new life there.

Hallo zusammen. Nächste Woche muss ich in den Kernspint. Habe aber Angst davor. Ich kann einfach nicht still liegen bleiben. Das letzte mal war es ganz schlimm für mich. Bekam während der Untersuchung Hustenreiz und es hat mich überall gejuckt. Sicher kennen das viele von euch? Darf man sich nicht bewegen, juckt es überall. Weiß jemanden Rat, wie ich mich ruhig verhalten kann? Letztes mal hat man mit mir gemeckert. Und mein Hustenanfall konnte ich leide nicht unterdrücken. Hatte aber keinen Husten. Wie gesagt es juckt mich überall, auch im Hals. Danke euch sehr für guten Rat.
