hey also ich muss in neglisch eine text analyse zum thema rethorical devices schreiben in bezug auf die rede von martin luther king "i have a dream" so ich hab schon ein bisschen was geschreiben bin aber gerade bei metaphern und brauche dort dringend hilfe! hier ein paar beispiele von metaphern:

“joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity” [paragraph 2]

"the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity” [3]

“rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice” [6]

so kann mir vielleicht jemand von euch erklären warum das metaphern siend bzw was sie bedeuten was ist damit gemeint?! auf deutsch reicht vollkommen aus wer will kann mir auch gleich in englisch hinschreiben! dankeee :)
