Kann man eines freundes handy orten auf „wo ist?“ auch wenn es den flugmodus aktiviert hat?

Jein.

Nicht direkt, aber neuere iPhones haben eine Funktion vergleichbar zu den Apple "Air Tags". D.h. wenn andere iPhones in die Nähe das verlorenen iPhones kommen, registrieren sie das und melden es an Apple.

If there is an Apple device near your lost iPhone, the Apple device will detect your phone through Bluetooth and send an approximate location of your iPhone to iCloud.
