Was heißt Schul-oder Stufensprecher auf Englisch?
ich habe schon bei diversen Übersetzungsseiten geguckt und bin leider immer noch nicht zu einer Antwort gekommen...vielleicht könnt ihr mir helfen :)

solche Begriffe sind aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Schulsysteme nur schwer zu übersetzen.
Im britischen Englisch heißt es head boy. (siehe: http://de.pons.eu/dict/search/results/?q=Schulsprecher&l=deen&in=ac_de&lf=de&kbd=en-gb)
Mein Vorschlag:
- student / school spokesman

Wie die Vorredner schon festgestellt haben, ist das britische Wort für Schülersprecher: "head boy".
"Schulsprecher" ist eine falsche Bezeichnung, die auch in den meisten Bundeslädnern seit über 25 Jahren nicht mehr angewendet wird., denn der "Schulsprecher" spricht nicht für die Schule, sondern für die Schüler.
Eins zu eins kann man den head boy und den Schülersprecher auch nicht gleichsetzen.
In den USA gibt es so etwas als Mitwirkungsorgan in der High School oft nicht, aber der Begriff "student spokesman" passt ungefähr.
Auch "Klassensprecher" gibt es als feste Institution in englischsprachigen Ländern eher nicht. Ein Begriff, der verstanden würde, wäre: class spokesman / representative - obwohl er eher klingt wie "Sprecher für eine soziale Schicht / Klasse".

In "Harry Potter" ist Harrys Bruder Percy "prefect", oder?
"findet ....** Verwendung**" wollte ich natürlich schreiben. (Man sollte einen Satz nicht umschreiben und dann nur die Hälfte ändern! )

Da der "Prefect" meist auch mit einer gewissen "Macht" (Aufsicht!) gegenüber anderen Schülern ausgestattet ist, ist er wohl doch nur zum Teil das Gegenstück für unseren "Schülersprecher".
