Was heißt "Ich hoffe du hattest einen guten Start in die Woche" oder "Ich wünsche dir einen guten Start in die Woche" auf Englisch?

Laut Google "I wish you a good start to the week", aber das hört sich doch irgendwie komisch an? Bei "einem schönen Tag" sagt man doch auch "I wish you a good start into the day"?

Diesmal ist der Google Übersetzer mal nicht ganz daneben.

Nimm:   "I wish you a good start into the week",    also mit "into"  denn siehe:

Hallo, ich bin englisch Muttersprachlerin und das, was Google sagt ist richtig: "I wish you a good start to the week". In diesem Fall ist "into" nicht korrekt.

Alternativ kann man auch "I hope your week started well" verwenden.

Ich würde, wie du ja selbst schon begründet hast, "into the week" sagen. Oder "I hope your week started well".

falls du Angst hast, ich könnte keine Ahnung haben, hab 15 Punkte im schriftlichen Englisch-Abi, also sollte hoffentlich stimmen ;)

"Hope you have a good week"
