Ich würde gerne um Ihre Hilfe bitten - können Sie bitte meinen Text kontrollieren. Die Wörter vor den Klammern habe ich gewählt.

The day my wife left (leave) she gave (give) me a list of who I am (be). I didn’t know (not+know) what she hands (hand) me. She compiled (compile) it without my knowledge for the last year or so we were (be) together. Eventually, I understood (understand) that she didn't mean (not+mean) the list as exhaustive, something complete, in any way the sum of my character or nature. Lelia was (be) the last person who would attempt anything even vaguely encyclopedic. But then maybe she herself didn’t know (not + know) what she does (do). She was drawing up idioms in the list, visions of me in the whitest raw light, instant snapshots of the difficult truths native to our time together.
